robo call from coalition for medicare

received call from 866 441 3070 today 08/12/09 @ 3:08 pm. No answer. I would like for these calls to stop. My wife is ill and it is very upsetting to her when I am gone.

These jerks are trying to get money from Social Security recipients - probably scammers.

866-441-3070 "The Coalition for Medicare Choices" is the health care industry's own sham "consumer" group.

Same old daily call from the same old Medicare solicitors.  Nothing stops them - perhaps they pay off the people who are supposed to enforce the Do Not Call list.

I wish this annoying person would stop calling and not saying anything/leaving a message, called twice same night.

I get these calls 2 or 3 time a day. They never leave a message. They hangup before the answering machine comes on.

These morons have switched to pre-recorded intrusions, at least for my phone number.  No longer any point in getting an air-powered fog horn, I guess.

I keep getting calls from this number although I am on every DO NOT CALL available,  How do we get them to stop?

We are handicapped and it's difficult for us to get to the phone, so when we get these harassing hang-up calls from 866-441-3070 it is especially irritating.  I have filed a complaint under the Americans With Disabilities act and the FCC but no to avail.  What do these people want with us?  Why do they hang up?  Is it to see if we are home so they can send someone to rob us?  Why do they do it?

Predictive dialing utilizes a pacing algorithm that factors agent availability, average call times, and answer rates in an attempt to maximize agent talk time with the lowest possible abandonment rate. Despite clever pacing, agents are inevitably unavailable for all answers and abandonment occurs. Power dialing maximizes agent talk time by continuously dialing all available lines. This results in astronomical abandonment rates.

866-441-3070 appears on my Caller ID, and no answer when I picked
up the phone to answer.  It's aggravating that this hasn't been stopped;
so, I'm adding my comment to indicate the problem persists into 2010.

Received several calls from this number. Made the mistake of answering the first one which was a recorded message saying "tell your Senator not to cut Medicare Advantage".They keep calling, I don't answer, they leave no message.
