Be weary of anyone that proclaims debt collectors are wonderful people. (the phrase bottom-feeder comes to mind)  Also, be especially weary of anyone that says in badly written English that collectors from India are wonderful.  Remember that anyone can leave posts here and that includes debt collectors from India, too.
I have been getting calls all day from this number on a Skype (free VOIP) telephone line and I only took that number a month ago.  So, these are calls for the last owner of the phone number, and the good thing about Skype is that you can block a particular outside number and their calls won't come through at all.  Before I blocked them, I tried to call them back and no one ever answered so to heck with them, they are on my do not receive list.  hehe

NCI has rude employees. They call atleast 6 times a day. And I don't talk to foreigners, if they can't talk plain enough to understand them, I'm not going to waste my time.

NCI does not report to the Credit Bureaus.. Its never done by NCI. We are just a collection agency helping people to clear their debt and to live a free life...Unlike debtors who would try to avoid our calls even if they know that they have used up the money and are not willing to pay-back like ungreatful creatures...We understand a persons financial condition and work along with them to resolve their debt but in return We need co-operation..

Calls my work number and hangs up when I pick up. I have no outstanding debt of any kind.

Called them and told them this is illegal, put me on hold and never picked up.

I've had stalkers with better etiquette...

i got a call frm NCI asking me to pay my AmEx bill of 20k. i spoke to a collector named barth.he really helped me settle my account and helped me save a lot on that account.

hey guyz i had an amex a/c wid thse NCI guyz and they settled it for barely 20%. i had a balance of abt 30,000. and i settled for $6000.. ths helped me a lot as amex was one of the largest crdst i had.. i wud recommend all u who have an accnt wid NCI to go ahead and cal thse NCI guyz as they might be of real help. imagine we end up payin jus 20% of wht we owe them.

i spoke to satty @ extn-2029 n expalined my situation n my debt was for $16000 n askd him for sum pymnt arrangement he was so polite n nice n after tat he gave me offer so lower which i culd never expect n now i m out of tat debt....

nci has good collectors with excellent skills

These people are quite rude.  They call me repeatedly, even when I've asked them not to. They don't tell you who they are until they'e tried to confirm all my information and you have to ask.  They tried to get me to make a payment over the phone, but I told them repeatedly that I would not and since they didn't listen to me I hung up on them.  I told them I would make a payment on the 13th and they called me that day to ask why they hadn't received it yet. They then called me a week later and I told them that I hadn't realized I was out of checks so I had ordered more and would send in a check as soon as I got them.  She would not listen to me for anything and so I again hung up on her and she called me EIGHT times. She told me I was no longer a customer, that I was a defaulter and would not let me to speak to a manager or anything. Then she called me back and hung up on me. I tried to be nice at first, but Sheetell would not let up.  She was extremely rude. I tried to be nice, but she didn't care. I'm over them.

i had a debt wit NCI....

I just spoke to a guy name Ryan and he reffered me to his supervisor. Supervisor was rude and didn't want to give me the time of day. Itold him that I was willing to make payment arrangements with them
and he asked me how much. I gave him my amount I can afford he adv me to low. He ask me if I can pay a one time payment of $4000.00 today and I told him  no. He says to not pay my mortgage so I can pay him all the money. He started getting cocky and told me that $4000.00 is a one time offer and need to call him tommorow to pay it. Then he hung up on me.

NCI is scum of the earth.  IF they don't get you to sign a NEW contract agreeing to pay the debt...THEY CAN'T FORCE YOU TO PAY PERIOD!  If you don't want them calling you, simply send them a letter stating that, and send it certified, return receipt.  If they continue to call, you can file a complaint with the FTC and they WILL be fined very heavily.  It is against the law to call you if you tell them you do not want them to call.  It is called Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and is the LAW. If they were legitimate and honest, they wouldn't block their caller ID and use other ID's to make you think it is someone else.  Know how to handle them and they will leave you alone!

What a bunch of scheming sh its!  All these posts claiming to be from customers who've had their debts resolved oh-so-pleasantly by oh-so-polite phone reps -- like the post from a "Kelly McCallister" on 2/4/09 -- um, your data-entry short-hand is showing, stupid!

I'm sick of these people calling past 9 pm and before 9 am. I'm not who they r looking for most of the time. I have one small outstanding debt for a belk card. I charged 200.00 on it now the bill is racked up over 400 bucks. They use bs tactics. they ask for people who don't exist here or my personal info if i'm around to answer the phone. If I don't say my ss # etc they hang up. I don't know them from Adam. If they wannt people to cooperate they need to specify who they are and on behalf of who they call for. I don't just give my info to strangers. They even went as far as trying to convince me that I called them first to resolve a debt they won't disclose to me unless I give my personal info.This economy is so bad wo do they actually think can pay right now? Pushing and harassing isn't going to makke people ave the money any sooner.

some guy called me with a heavy accent nd broken english....stuipd,fellow name RAVI who use to call me nd pornouce my name as MOORE..u morone its MORE not MOORE....
