866-485-5354 has been calling my cell several times, and I make a point not to answer any 800 numbers.  If they are legit they will usually leave a message and I can call them back.  This one has never left a message.  

I called the number and I did get the TD Canada Trust main line.  I talked to a representative and advised them that I do not have any TD products.  They did not have any record of my name or number on file, and have no business with me whatsoever.

It leads me to wonder if, although this is a legitimate phone number, someone might be spoofing the number to get people to reveal their account details.  NEVER provide details to someone on the phone unless you are absolutely certain they are who they say they are.

You can get upset about the calls or you can jsut pick up and get it over with. If you think there is no reason for collections to be calling you then thats an even better reason to pick up because maybe something is wrong with your accoutns that your unaware of .
If you answer then everything gets all taken care of in less than a minute and probably saves your credit from getting damage. If you ignore their calls they'll keep coming and you'll continue to have a bill late ,

If you pick up they will never ask you any personal financial questions-they jsut say what your late on and ask when you'll pay

I have recieved calls from this number and have never answered I have read that this is TD bank however, I do not, nor have I ever banked with them. I have had my cell # for 8years so this is probably a scam

This fake post appears to another one from the fraudster behind this scam, claiming that this is a legitimate call from a bank.  Another phishing fraud/debt collection fraud.

This Number keeps calling me and they do not answer when I say hello. They have called me 3 times and done this. If some company is going to call me then they need to speak when the phone is answered. If this keeps happening I will have to make a complaint to the head office.

I have had daily calls from this number out of the United States. They say it is TD Canada Trust. I will not answer it as I don't have a plan for the U.S.. I would be charged for the call and I have been told that this number belongs to scammers. They never leave any info on my voicemail except who they are. Also the name does not show up on my call display. I am sick of these calls. Please stop these people if you can. Thanks

Some liar from a collections outsourcer, claiming to be a Bank.

I offered to call them back AT THE BANK'S PUBLISHED 800 NUMBER and use an extension number to get to their desk - it's a cheap way to quickly confirm they're not lying - and they suddenly weren't at that number;  thus the accusation that they were lying, and the assumption they must be some scumbag collector trying to reach the guy who used to have my phone number.  Poor guy.

This IS a Robocall from TD Bank about my account OD.... This is a Very disrespectful way of jerking a guy around - when the call is from the US and is neither accompanied by a Caller ID or the respect of a Voicemail message. My Policy of NOT ANSWERING ANY 1-800 Numbers stands.... I have won too many trips and spent too many days of holidays in a Free Room.

I don't have credit,account or similar with TD why they call me?

Except that I don't even have a TD account so I assure you this number is a scam

I received a letter in the mail from them and do not have debt with TD.  I have never done banking with them.

This is an insurance firm affiliated connected with various banks. They are nuisance callers and have nothing to do with what you may or may not owe. We have a Mortgage with the TD and are always paid up and on time...What we do is answer and quickly hang up...Call the bank...they know absolutely nothing about these calls...

they also could be calling due to a negative balance in your account.  Just remember these calls are automated to the person on the other line to talk to you so please don't take it out on the rep.

That was rather rude to say to someone TD-Man-001, your user name must be incorrect, the bank I work at (TD) definitely isn't that nasty to people.  There is a thing called "respect," time to get some buddy.

Already missed two calls from these people to my office extension. Weird. I just started working here six months ago and would never list my work number for anything. Left no messages. I am not a TD client, have never been, have no student loan or any kind of loan. Up to date on everything.

I got a call from them for the last couple of days.... They didn't leave a message.... I think THAT IS RUDE..... especially without having a TD Call display.  I don't answer... I pay what I know is arrears and then it is up to them to check their computers... we pay for the service so they might as well work a bit for it...

If you recieved 20 phone calls you must owe some serious money mary. It is not illegal nor harassment for your mortgager to try and collect overdue funds from you.
I wonder if you still have a home.
