- Sarah replies to TD-Man-001I don’t have a TD bank account and I have no overdue bills. And I got calls on a brand new cellphone I have owned for less than a week and have not registered anywhere as well as my old cell phone.
- Sally replies to TD-Man-001Payment of what? I have no TD Bank account.
- Lynn replies to JamesI’ve received nine calls and owe nothing. To anyone. And have never had an account with TD.
- LaurieHow do you make them stop calling? This must be a scam as I owe them nothing. They call at least 3 times a day. I don't even bother answering when I see the number on call display.

- Caller: TD
- Call type: Debt collector
- Common Sense| 1 replyFor those of you claiming it is a scam call when you haven't picked it up and you don't have any TD products, ever think that they have the wrong number? Just pick up the call and tell them it is the wrong number and they will delete it. Can't believe idiots write it off as fraud because it is a 1866 number.
- Caller: TD bank
- Call type: Debt collector
- Birdy replies to Common SenseNo, the "1866" number prefix is not why people are skeptical about calls from this number. But being a shill, I think you already know that.
No one is required to help a debt scammer "fix" their errors. Or to be sweet and nice.
Seems to me it makes sense to be careful about calls from this number. - Trust MeThis # is 100% scam - the msg you get when you call back is recorded, not the actual TD msg asking the correct prompts - try it and compare.
Also, when I answered, the call immediately got connected to the scammer mule, who sounded very young, dope-ish, and generally un-informed, and the little [***] asks for me by a name not registered with the bank or on any official record - which proves it's 100% not the bank and they got this info from some other hack.
Also - to put the nail in the coffin - I am a call centre pro and I have done this kind of scam work before, they always advertise a legit sounding job, then hook you in with the quick cash.
They are fishing for more info - DO NOT ENTER YOUR CARD/PIN # OR TELL THEM ANYTHING OTHER THAN FU.
They will even use your recorded voice saying "YES" for other scams.
Anybody who says otherwise here is the people calling you - [***].- Caller: [***]

- not scammed today thankscalled back, got vm that sounds like td. Selected option for customer service, gave my name and number. was asked to answer "security questions" which I declined, noting they asked me to call them. End of call. TD has been terribly sloppy about security in the past, so I can't say conclusively that this is a scam. But it certainly might be. Therefore I suggest not responding to this number.
- Caller: Claims to be TD
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- not scammed today thanks replies to TD-Man-001Calls from "businesses" that ask me to answer security questions are more likely to be phishing scammers as legit. If it's really td, why haven't they fixed this broken practice after more than 10 years???
Ps fix your caps lock key, scammer. - not scammed today thanks replies to TD-Man-001Of course I trust everything anonymous shills say online. If it's on the internet it must be true!
- JI called my local branch and the agent there tail this is NOT one of their numbers
- Caller: Scammer pretending to be TD
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- John AlbertaThis number called and left a voice message saying it was from TD bank ... The voice was not the same as the standard TD Banks' Automated Voice on all other numbers and automated interactive voice response systems.
When I called the number, it was again was a different voice on the the automated voice menu. It did not Identify or specify it was TD bank and that the call may be recorded for training and blah Blah as expected... Nor did it ask me for Preferred Language, and then to Choose from one of the following messages...
The last press a # option spoke of some credit union.
All of the above make me believe it is a scam or an attempt to steal my Digital ID- Caller: TD Bank
