- no name| 1 replyI was called by these people and was told that I was being charged with a 3 crimes.. Banking Regulation, Check Fraud and he was yelling so loud I could not hear the third one.. This really upset me and I called back and asked what the hell he was talking about as I knew this was bull****... He hung up on me and said he was going to get me for phone harassment.. They have called everyone I know... Refering to case#xxxxxxxx.. I can not believe they can get away with this. I am calling the BBB... I have had 4 deaths in a matter of 4 years and my nerves cannot take this... He said this was from a CC I had in 1999.... What a joke!!!!They call me from 4 different numbers at all hours... I have had enough ..... The guy calling me sounded like he was from India. I get a call every day from them.... If you are being charged with a crime I don't think they call you up and tell you on the phone..... Someone need to do something about these people ASAP!!!!

- Federal Credit Union ProgrammerLooked into a debt for a 70 year old in a nursing home. Better Business Bureau gives Brandon Wilson an F rating. Google matches up the one person collection agency 'president' as a man on death row for murdering a 9 year old in a restroom. No wonder he wants to talk to a lawyer!

- They_worked_me_overWow! These guys called me and said some pretty mean and threatening things to me and told me if I didn't pay them $235.00 by the 30th of July 2010 they would contact my lawyer. I did this because I do not know the laws. My husband didnt want me to do it at all. Now I am trying to get a hold of them and guess what NO ANSWER! From now on I need to do research at least all they got out of me was $235. I am done with them!

- LHL replies to 2smart4uYou will never hear anything good about ANY collection agencys , These web pages are for people who want to cover up the fact that they owe large sums of money ... looking over this topic everyone agrees on one thing DONT PAY right ? make the company send you documentation of a debt you damn well know you owe . You know whats funny about the whole thing ? the person thats telling you not to pay your bills, is going to be forced to pay high interest rates , higher sales tax , bank fees, higher insurace rates , higher medical bills... The list is way to long
- Sunny replies to missshIf your mother receives a Social Security or an SSI check, it cannot be touched by a debt collector. Also, only the business from where a credit card, money, etc. was originally issued or borrowed can collect a debt, NOT a collection agency. I know this to be a fact because I recently won a lawsuit against a collection agency for trying to take money from my bank account, which is the money from my direct deposited Social Security check. If your mother continues to be harrassed by this debt collector, tell her not to be alarmed as they are only using scare tactics and do NOT send a check to these scam artists!

- SammiIf any debt collector tries to scare you by stating they'll be sending law enforcement, don't listen. Debt collecting is ALL civil and never criminal matters. I actually had one tell me he was going to get a warrant for my arrest and I laughed and said "not for me, that doesn't happen, this isn't criminal - I'm in law enforcement!"
The info about it being beyond a specified amount of time is true. Please be sure you know what your state allows as far as time for legitimate collections.
Bone-up on the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) so you're knowledgeable about these scum calling you and what they can ask for.
Also, if there is collateral attached, such as a car loan/lien, they can take the collateral and that's it. They can't get the money, too. If it's an unsecured loan, such as a Visa card, they can't take anything from you. Within the time period allowed, they can take you to court to garnish your income for the funds; but, they don't want to spend the time and money for court.
I had an "attorney" named "Sam Wyse" from this number call - to my parents! Brad Fuller is on the recording. Brad Fuller? So where is good ol' Sam?
Write a FDCPA letter to them and tell them to shove it. Send it certified with a signature returned and per the FDCPA, they are in violation - penalties are high if they ignore the letter. They don't like those letters.- Caller: Bryant Hodge and Associates

- Dave211| 1 replyThey called and started saying nasty and vulgar things to my wife over a debt that no longer exists. I have contacted an attorney and so far they owe me $1,000 (since I asked them to stop calling.) Every time they call me it's another 1000 bucks, bring it on Brian Hodges!
This is a useful website for victims of these people. I wonder why Homeland Security hasn't intervened in this...

- not a dead beat| 1 replyI don't know how I came across this web page but I did and started to read these postings. I think its funny to read all these comments by these dead beats saying not to pay ur bills. I wouldn't take there advice. The people writing these comments probably owe the whole world money. I bet they don't own anything. They probably rent a apartment with 10 other people (cuz they can't afford it themselfs) and collect ssi or disability. There probably also divorced with 5 kids as well. The way I look at it is if I was to lend someone $1000 I would expect them to pay me back. Same thing with the credit card people they r lending u $1000's of dollars and they expect it back within a certain time frame without any excuses. How would u like it if the person u lent money to was giving u every excuse in the book? Im sure u wouldn't give 2 sh*ts u just want ur money back right? That's how debt collection places feel. They don't care what u have going on or whatever the case may be they just want there money cuz u owe it to them. So shame on u people for running up these cards and not paying them back and coming up with all these excuses. And for all the people with comments saying to sue and get a lawyer I hope u don't teach ur children to not pay there bills as well. If u r teaching them not topay there bills u should get a shovel and dig a 8 foot hole and take a long nap cuz that awful advice.
- everyones friendIf ur reading this posting go grab a dictionary ... did u get one? Ok great.. look up the word "trailer trash".. I bet a picture of dave211,sammi and kassie came up. If they didn't chances r ur dictionary isn't up to date
- MTI spoke with Mr Stone today about a B of A debt. The debt was not mine. I have a very common name and get calls like this all of the time. Apparently these folks call all people with alike names to the debtor that they are looking for. My area code is not even in the correct city that they had for the debtor. I pay all of my bills and have several lines of credit with B of A. If I was in default, B of A would not continue to do business with me.
As for Mr Stone and Bryant Hodge and Assoc., Gentlemen you need to do your homework and do a better job investigating someone before you call. It is very easy to identify someone these days.
Don't be fooled by these people and don't pay them. I have done the reasearch. They can not continue to harrass you without first supplying you proper documentation. Research your State's laws. There are Federal and State regulations governing their actions.
Stand up for yourself and take action. File complains if this continues. Contact your State and Federal Representatives for help. The sooner we all act, the sooner the government will react.
Mr Stone, I must complement you on several of these emails that you have written. It's a shame that you you don't spend more time researching the correct debtor you are looking for instead of spending time on this site!- Caller: Bryant Hodges and Associates

- ronzolopezGot a call for my wife from a "John Reilly" about "business". Turns out the number was 888-675-4485. Just said it was about "Business" but when my wife called it was the bill collector and all she could do is leave a message. Must think we are thick.

- me replies to Dave211how do you plan on collecting that money, if no one really knows who they are and how to get to them?
- JeannetteI just received a call from this creditor. They use the name Bryan Hodge and associates to try and intimidate people to pay. The debt collector was arguing with me to pay. This was from a Debt in 2001. We are now in 2011. The reason they use Bryan Hodge and Associates is because there is a stue of limitations in which a state has to sue you for credit card debt. In California it is four years. For your state go to this website:
http://www.creditcards.com/credit-card-news/c ... ations-1282.php
They are NOT lawyers if you look up their name with your local attorney bar they are not registered & do not have a bar#. These people are worthless. Do not believe they can sue you. You are protected by law. Luckily I know the laws because of what I do for a living and know they are making false threats to try and get people to pay. I hope this info helps everybody that is being harrased by these people. Tell them to stop harrasing you and that your lawyer will be in contact with them. Do NOT confirm any of your personal information with them.- Caller: Bryan Hodge & Associates
