This call was from "card services" requesting the last 6 digits of my credit card and to call back about unauthorized transactions.

This call was actually ligit.  It was from a credit card services company used by my credit union.  They reported recent unauthorized activity on my credit card.  It is hard to tell whether these type of calls are really from your bank or a fraudulent company just trying to get your information.  In this case I asked which bank and card they were calling about and after I gave them my phone number they pulled up all the info from my bank.  They said if there was any doubt on my part to just call the number on the back of the credit card and it would be the same number I am connected to now.  Card has been canceled before purchases were authorized.  Good service.

This call is absolutely not legit,  nor is it the same number on the back of your card. People do not listen to John who probably is involved with these thieves. Practice your own due diligence and check the back of your own card.

We've been called 3 times, a fraud alert on a card for person who has our daughter as a trustee. It seems it is a scam.  When the person with the card called the number they asked for her card # and personal information, she was suspicious, so she went into MFCU and found there was no fraud. I'd like to know who is the scammer.

Fraud, MFCU said no suspicious activity on my card.  The had a lot of information, but asked for the security numbers on the back of the card.  MFCU said the real company would never do this.

I received a call from this number with my full name and last 4 digits of my CC number. I contacted my credit union who stated there WAS fraud on my card.  There were 2 purchases; yesterday an itunes purchase and today an attempt to make a payment at the Taj Mahal Inn in Iowa. So my call was legit. Cant speak for all the others.

Fishing Scam trying to get personal information by claiming they call ob behalf of your bank to supposedly verify fraudulent credit card information.

This was a legit call from my credit union card protection agency.  They left me a voicemail and already new my card last 4 digits.  So I called my credit union itself and the call was real. Someone stole my card #! :(

Legit call. However, I called the number on the back of my Credit card to be safe. There were indeed 2 fraudulent charges.

It's a scam! Do not answer nor call them back. Do not give out any of your personal information!

Got a call from this number they left a messsge with the card ending number. Since I haven’t used this card in about 2 years I called the card company from the back of the card just to be safe and it was legit. Card was used online to purchase items from someplace called Red Square. Immediately cancelled card. If you get a call I would suggest calling the card company. I’m glad I did.

Got a call from this number and they identified themselves as "Fraud Detection." They had the last four numbers of my credit card and indicated that I had fraudulent activity. I contacted my financial institution directly and they indicated that there was no fraudulent activity on my account and it is good I called them instead of returning the call I got. If you get a call similar to this do not, I repeat do not call them back, call your credit union or bank directly. These people are frauds.

The voice message we got stated they were from the fraud dept and new my name and the last four of my debit card but they called my husbands phone. I know this is a scam because I have been contacted by my fraud dept before and this IS NOT how they identify themselves and they would never leave ANY of my card info on a voice message.
