It was about fraud detection of my card, I suggest don't call back, call the number on the back of your card instead, and check if everything is okay in your card.

Picked up and there was no one on the other line: complete silence, until I hung up.

Ended up as legit. Called my Credit Union. They verified the number as correct and we reviewed the transactions I made that raised the possible fraud flag. Then I was transferred to the same original number - the card fraud group. With minimal info we verified the issue and removed the flags.

Carefull Fishing scam posing as Fraud Department.

I received a phone call where they had the last 4 digits of my debit card number, reporting there was fraud. When I called the number back they said they were Co-op Financial Services. I then called my credit union and they verified they do use Co-op Financial Services as their third-party fraud investigator. The people at my credit union did staight  I had fraudulent activities going on with my debit card. I was thrown off when I had first called Co-op by them wanting the 3-digit security code for my card, which I declined to give them and then contacted my credit union. So, they are legit but I would still recommend going straight to your credit union first.

Call the number on the back of your cc if you get a call from this number. They left a voice message on my phone about fraudulent charges on my card. Called my bank and there were fraudulent charges. :(  Call was legit for me

I listen to VM and they said I had fraudulent activity on credit card and last four numbers of card. Almost had me fooled but I know my credit card company would call me direct and not so vague.

This is a real "credit card" service used by my Credit Union.  Good service to have.

A robo voice left a message to call card security services. They verified my information and said they would cancel my card and send a new one.  I called the number on the back of my card to confirm that the card had been cancelled and it had been.

If you have any doubts about this number, don't call it - but call the number on the back of your credit card.  They will be able to verify if fraud has been committed with your card.

Got a call that went to voicemail. Returned call after doing reverse lookup on number. There was a fraudulent charge on the card as of today. Confirmed other recent charges which are legit. Cancelled card.

They claim to be the Department of Education and ask for my social security number to look up my account information.

Received message from "fraud detection department on behalf of my credit union" about activity on my card ending in xxxx. Phone number didn't match my credit union contact info. I called credit union directly and it turned out to be an actual declined charge at a gas station. I had never used this card and had never even activated it so not sure how they even stole it, which is scary. Legitimate call but I would still recommend always calling your bank directly.

I received a call from this "card services" number asking me to verify recent credit card transactions. I tend to err on the side of caution. Lots of people are claiming this is a scam number. I physically went into my credit union and asked whether they use another number (other than the one on the back of my card for fraud detection), they told me, yes. When I asked them for the number they use, this was the one they supplied me with (it's even listed on their website under "Card Fraud Detection" where they specifically state "To protect yourself, please only discuss your information over the phone during a call received from one of the numbers below". Emphasis on the word ONLY in regards to the numbers they supply on the site). This is totally legit, I had made some overseas purchases and they just want to verify I made them.

It’s a scam asking for your credit card info.

It is a legitimate number.  They were alerted to suspicious activity on my community financial credit union master card.  Someone stole my # printed a card and were using it in Brazil.

It is not on the back of my credit card either!!!! Scam.  Another robo call to contend with.  I just don't answer, and guess what?  They don't leave a message.....imagine that!!
