We had moved and requested a unpublished/unlisted number since I have a sister-in-law with the exact same name as mine. I kept getting calls for the former owner who cancelled his service only three months earlier, so I requested a new number last week and was given one (again unpublished/unlisted) that has not been used since July/2005. The only person who knows the number is myself and my husband and neither have even given it out to family yet for we all have cell phones from the same service and it is cheaper to talk that way than using the regular phone. Now I get this number calling 1-2x a day stating this is not a sales call and it is important they talk to me and leave the call back number as 866-577-8402 and ask for Craig Jensen. They never say WHO THEY want to talk to.

The FTC needs to do something to stop this! We should give them the numbers for our Congressmen and Senators. I called back the number and someone answered saying they were looking for someone else by the name of steve monman. sounds like some kind of scam but I am not sure how they are making money? I will check to see if calling there number costs me anything.  He said he would remove my number from there list? I am not going to hold my breath.

I received the same message from Craig Jansen (automated) on my cell phone and I don't have any collections accounts or anything.  They were looking for someone else not even close to my name, and just like all of the other posts I couldn't understand the name of the company at all when he said it.  Everything else he said was perfectly clear, but not the company name.  Although, unlike the rest of the posts the man I talked to was very nice.  I guess I'll see if they continue to harass me or not.

My mom keeps getting these nusance calls.  It's unfortunate so many people are complaining and nothing seems to be getting done about it.

This number 866-577-8402 to return calls to is from Leading Edge collection agency.  When I used *69 the call was from 800 663 4707.  "Craig Jepson/Jenson" recording said he needed a return call.

When I called back they asked for my old boyfriend who hasn't lived here for 2 years.  He had only one debt (AT&T) from maybe 4 years ago- I know this because we had talked about old debts and he said he'd let this one hang a while but had paid it to AT&T with no collection action.  Whatever.

Anyhow, a lady answered "Leading Edge" when I returned the call, asked for him, I said no one lived here by that name and she hung up.  Hope there are no futher calls!  If you see this on other websites, I'm going to add it to a few sites to help other people.

This company calls me as well, all different names,all hours, same number. They have called and said they were attorneys and it was important,so googled it and found all of you here with the same problem. Saying they are attorneys is blatent illegal tactics, and they deserve to get sued to stop this to all they call.

Illinois had a law suit against them... go online it's good reading... am now googling all I can.. I think Craig Jepsen seems to be an alias... who knows..but I am going back to see how many other states have lawsuits against this company.

Same deal....has called constantly!!!  There is certainly no reason for him to be calling me either!

Same deal kept getting calls for someone that doesn't live here, I was however able to get all of the way up to a manager, John Ruddy at extension 1050, fax number of 303 779-0270. After about 20 minutes of conversation, he still refused to send me anything in writing verifying that my number had been removed, Three people from this company had already told me that they would remove the number, they lied. [note: name was pronounced Craig Jepson (with a "P") not Jenson... listened to the msg a few times to make sure.]

Call from 1-866-577-8402; I returned call to see who craig jensen was. I gat a rude person (female) wanting a piece of my social security number; I declined after telleing her to have a nice holiday and not to call my number again.

Have gotten numerous calls from this number

This guy won't stop. He must have called 5 times.I'am not the one that he's

I got a call from them (Vincent Gray) today, fed up with trying to call them back to get them to stop calling, I went on the internet.  I emailed them at http://www.leadingedgerecovery.com under the contact us section, got a call within minutes of sending email.  Told them I was not the person they were looking for and that I have had my number for 4 years.  They apologized, said I might get another call today but the system resets at Midnight and that I shouldn't hear from them again.  If I had know it would only take moments I would have called months ago!

I get calls all the time from 866-577-8402, I finally called them back today & it was Check Into Cash. I have never been to Check Into Cash & I have had the same phone number for 12 years. They are not calling for me, but they won't say who they are calling for.
