I recieved the same phone call today, I called back and then was put on hold for about 2 minutes until I finally hung up.  Then I googled the number and found this site. I wish I would have done that first.

yup - just hung up on this women also! same line of questioning. my spidy sense went off and I hung up

This call is going around it seems. Same message -- FedEx package ID 2331. Please call so we can ship package yada yada yada. I never called back just Googled the company name and this came up. What a great world we live in.

Received a call from Ashley Brown regarding a FedEX Priority package.  I suspected foul play & checked "Who Calls Me".  Same exact message as what's posted.  I didn't bother to call back based on info posted on this site.  The message rolled to my business voice mail so didn't get caller ID / company from the call!

Same story...Ashley Brown...ID 2331.  Didn't call, thanks to this website.

I got this call today.  The name I get is Veronica Lacy regarding a FedEX Priority package ref # D0204.  Seems like the changed the name

Same as you guys.  Ashley...package 2331.  Tried to call and no answer.  Checked this site first before I returned her call so I was prepared.

as of 1 july - ashley is still making phone calls - i got one today reference my package 2331.  all i get is a busy signal; i thought i wrote down the wrong number.

Same message, person, and number.  I called before I Googled it.  Call did not go through... Reporting it to the FCC.

Same thing happened to me. I received a voicemail at work from an Ashley Brown with RCS Mascard division. She said to call this number 866-662-8470 in regards to my FedEx Priority package shipment and to reference ID #2331.

I called the number and got a fast busy signal.  Tried to "Reverselookup" the number but nothing came up so I googled it and found this site.

What caught my attention is the fact that Fed Ex. doesn't have packages that they refer to as FedEx Priority and the ID was too short and didn't contain any alpha characters.

I received a call into my private voice mail at work.  It was a live voice asking me to call back to 866-662-8470 about my Fed-X package under ref# 2331.  I am expecting a package from them, so i called.  It is some scam or something.  you will not get a human on the phone.

Ashley Brown from RCS called and left a voice message on our central company telephone.  Something along the lines of ... Please call this toll free number and reference this number so we can get your UPS Package out today.  

We called back... some dude answered the phone and said Ashley is a sales rep and is currently out of the office.  He was her supervisor... and would not tell us what "Rubicon"(sp?) did... but then launched into someing about delivering a package from NASCAR.

I immediately told him that these bogus phone calls were completely inappropriate, and before I could contine to rant, he hung up.

I guess this is still going on, I received the call from an Ashley at x2331 July 21, 2008.    Like a fool I called back and was put on hold after it answered Rubicon, I hung up as soon as I realized it put me on hold.

Received a voicemail from Ashley Brown at RCS NASCAR regarding a Fed Ex package to be picked up. Did not call, because I checked here first. Must be a scam.

I received the call on my voice mail on July 2009.  Ashley Brown is up to her old tricks on RCS - Nascar division and the reference # 2331.  I didn't return her call because I was skecptical of what she wanted.  I'm glad I did some checking first.

I received the same message from "Ashley Brown" from ? RCS nascar or mastercard division about your fedx priority package? asking me to call 1-866-662-8470 reference to ID number 2331 so she could my mail the package out to me. On the third try I was connected to some one who said her name is Nicole. She asked for the City and State I was from. I told her but asked what this was concerning she said it was to send out a free "Atlanta Braves" t-shirt as a thank you gift for "past or future purchases". I asked her what was the business name and what was the product. She spelled the business name as "Rubachem" and they sold cleaning maintenance supplies (i.e. degreaser etc.). Website is http://www.rubachem.com/. I think they sell through independent marketers (AKA AMWAY)and this phone call must be how they build client base for participating marketers. When I asked if we had purchased product from them before so said yes, when I asked who placed the order she hung up. She also said she would normally deliver the shirt in person but since she was behind on her service calls she would mail it. (I think this means there are not any independent marketers in my area).

I couldn't get through to Ashley so I Googled the number. Sometimes not being able to get through is a GOOD thing!
