It's an absolute SCAM.  Someone from RCS (Rubachem Systems??) called asking if I'm a Yankee fan, yada yada...he would, of course sent out those rolls of poly you ordered last time.  We NEVER ordered from them.  Hang up on these scammers!!

Ship overpriced junk without authorization and refuse to let you ship it back to them when you find out about the scam.

The name of the company is Rubachem Systems. I agreed to accept a free sample of their industrial maintenance kit.  My boss was very impressed with the quality of the materials.  We have reordered from them on numerous occassions and have always been satisfied with its customer service.  They stand behind their products.

My company was scammed by Rubachem Systems as well.  We have gotten calls from them before.  They tell you they are from RCS (which I'm sure a lot of people hear it and think they say that they are from RSC rental company)  They offer to bring you by some free hats.  I hang up at this point, so i don't know how the rest of the scam works.  Our superintendent received a call about the free hats, and says that he answered with whatever.  Later he received a call from Rubachem verifying their order.  He told them he didn't know anything about an order from them, and at that the guy on the phone told him he would cancel the order.  A few days later someone else on the job site received a package from Rubachem.  I found this out when i got a bill for $988.  This company has been trying to scam us for years and finally got through.  Complete rip off prices.  12 rolls of caution tape at $19 per roll!  12 rolls of duct tape at $11.60 a roll.  12 pairs of safety glasses at 16.50 per pair.  And 200 pairs of ear plugs for $199!!  $83 for shipping these items!!

So first i had to leave a message as "all their representatives were busy."   I called back the next day to try to speak to someone.  I finally got to speak to Jim Reed (800-548-3285 ext.114)  He claims that all their sales are through independent sellers.  He also claims that the order he originally placed was much larger and upon verification the order was reduced.  Our superintendent has been with us for 9 years and says he told them he did not place an order.  I've personally know the guy for 20 years.  I would tend to believe him over this stranger on the phone, who keeps throwing up an "I'm an old man" defense.  He told me he would send me a return authorization number and and address and i told him i would also need a return shipping ticket.  He said he was not going to pay for return shipping, and i told him i would not either as i had not ordered this.  He claims he has no responsibility for the independent subs that sell his overpriced items.  I told him, if that is the case then i have no responsibility for my superintendents.  He told me, we will see what happens then, and that was pretty much the end of the conversation.  About two weeks later we received a postage paid return shipping ticket.  We sent the items back and haven't heard from them since.  I guess i should have sent them an $85 bill for shipping like they tried to get me to pay.

This company is a joke.  Google "rubachem systems review" and just check out the way they are using amazon book reviews to take heat away from people looking up their company.

The moral of this story is, THEY ARE SCAMMERS.  All the positive reviews on here are from them.  If you get scammed by them, stick to your guns and tell them to send you a paid freight ticket if they want their stuff back.  They will send one as trying to scam out there junk again is more profitable then trying to sue someone when they have no signed orders.

Electronic spam bot Veronica Lacey with RCS Nascar division left a message for me today about a FedEx package.  They're still using D0204 as well.  This is twice in 18 months.

Here is where you can reach them-1-201-767-7900-ask for Joseph Rubach or Jason Rubach-be careful they use fake names-there is no Paul Evans or Chris Webb be careful these are fake names--Rubachem Systems 266 Union Street Northvale NJ-fax-201-767-7044-they use Federal Express but they are calling from a boiler room in Northvale NJ-there is no such person as Ashley they ask some college girl who has a nice voice to make up this fake message and then in return give it to a salesperson in the front room to sell this person-the other names are-Josh Rubach and his dad Mark-do not be fooled by the gent in collections his name is -(Tom)not Dan Clark-they also have a Florida office under the fake name of IPC and they do the same thing-Edward L. Boyland

i was informed by my owner to check to check on the computer that somebody refered to sparta chem as a bunch of scumbags etc-that when i came across the same thing about rubachem i had worked out both and i can tell you one thing okay i wish they could work on a few things with both there sales presentations but with that said they both verify very tight on making sure before anything(product)goes out that it is a solid order and when a order is ok to ship the buyer does recieve the promos they requested

I worked there.  What can i say........ they r the biggest bunch of scam artists!!!! Why hasnt anyone closed them down?????

I don't know if the call came from the same phone number, but first a guy called and said he was calling from RCS Shipping and needed to check on a package that was sent to us from UPS and needed information off the white slip. So I said, "Ok, what was in the package?" he says "Oh Im not really sure, this is my first day" so I say "Well I can't help you then, I have UPS packages coming into my office everyday, without any info I can't help you" He says let me transfer you to my GM. I waited to see what this was all about, then a girl named KATIE picked up and tried to get me to verify my mailing address and play it off like we do business together...UH HELL NO! So I told her, we are not interested in your free NFL shirt, that is not our address and thank you. I hung up on her. So I guess they are using different company names as well.

RCS shipping called refused to give any information and when I asked questions they hung up.
