call from 1-866-665-5623.  I answered but noone on the line.
This is surely a telemarketer that uses an autodial feature and the line being dead is likely due to the fact that the Telemarketer was not ready for another call and hung up.  I assume they get compensated on calls made, as well as conversions for new services (if it's Rogers) - which would explain the fact that noone is on the line.

Excellent letter.  Will copy and send the same one so they can get the picture.  Hate it when they call when my baby has FINALLY fallen asleep and they call and wake her up.  Not cool.

I called this rogers #  1-888-ROGERS1 (764-3771)  and chose the "Sales and Service" dept from the automated thingy.  I told her what was going on and she put a note on our account with them with a correction ID# and put a stop to it. I asked her what happens if they keep calling regardless and she said that they won't because she put a stop to it and they have to honor it.  Will see if that's true.  If i don't get anymore phone calls from them i will let you know and everyone can do the same thing.

Yep they've been calling me daily. First time I answered, I realized it was a telemarketer because of how long it took for the person to start talking.... that and the heavy accent. I told them to not call me again I wasn't interested. Been receiving calls from them daily ever since, and every time I pick up to tell them not to call me anymore, instant hang up on their end. I called Rogers tech support for them to do something and all they told me was to tell the telemarketer to opt me out. Well it's hard when there's nobody on the other end of their stupid auto dialer to talk to me. I just did what the person above me suggested and called Rogers "sales and service" who in turn redirected me to technical support and filled out a request to remove my number from their marketing. Said it would take about 1-2 weeks to remove my number from their database. I guess we'll see if Rogers really wants to keep me as a customer or not because this is most certainly harassment.

Nov 10 to 16 2010 -- received 23 calls from this #, called back and it seems to be a Rogers 3rd party telemarketer who would like to talk to me about Rogers.

Not happy and yes went to ROGERS.COM and provided feedback about same !

Have now called Rogers 3 times and opted out 3 times...the 3rd party is still calling the house.  Time to contact Ombudsman i guess.  If all else fails then we dump Rogers and go elsewhere.

I've asked Rogers to put me on the  list 3 times now. I just  talked to a manager and she gave me a song and dance that you have to do it on rogers.com now, and it's always been that way so any customer service person who takes the information over the phone is BS'ing you. I told her they lost a customer and I'm going to Telus this afternoon to switch to a new account.

We tried to block this number on our Shaw phone account.  Shaw is owned by Rogers?  In anycase, it isn't working and we are getting multiple calls a day from this number.  We don't answer them but we want them stopped.

They are calling me several times a day and night, this is nuts!!

I have phoned the number back from a landline work phone, it comes on with an automated message that states it is in regards to Rogers and being a "value" customer, customer satisfaction survey.

I will tell you right now, satisfied with them? Obviously not. Our cells phones are crap, they won't allow us to upgrade, because we aren't eligible, etc... I've been a loyal customer since 2003, paid all bills on time in full, some which were astronomical amounts. Yet, when we need new phones, we can't get them etc... But yet they can continously call and harrass me.

I am receiving so many calls from this number, no message, no one on the other end and the calls are late in the evening or in the middle of the night.

THEY WON'T STOP CALLING.
AND they won't reply when I answer the god damn phone.
