I got phone calls from it today and I didn’t answer it

What does the call display say when they are using their 3 free calls and what does the call display when they are using the call bundles from the phone pin? I'm curious and this may sound silly but it hard for me to keep track of the number of calls since he also calls his son to a different number.

The number is telmate the phone system at the Regina correctional center. Inmates get 2 free 20 minute calls per day, after that yes you are prompted to provide your cc info if you wanna add minutes to the offenders calling card. It is not a scam but can add up quickly if you’re not careful. You can choose to pay for calls only to you from the inmate or choose the option that they can call whoever.

Got a weird collect call from a Calgary Prison today.  I recorded it but whoever was recording their voice mumbled into the phone so I couldn't make out what their name was. None of my friends are in prison that I know of so guessing it's either a wrong number or a prank possibly?  Shady

I’m getting calls too. I’ve gotten three so far one each day I never picked up because each time I wasn’t around my phone or working. I’m pretty positive I don’t know anyone in jail, so do I just block the number? I’m too nervous to pick up I don’t want my information stolen haha.

I am recieving 5 to 8 calls a day from the edmonton remand centre

I am recieving 5 to 8 calls a day from this 866 713 4761 # says the Edmonton remand centre and I dont know anyone in there, every couple of hours Im getting a call from that number sometimes one after the other...Ive blocked the # so maybe that will stop it but I doubt it

I'm 90% sure all jails in Canada use the same system so you would have to actually answer the call and listen to the automated message that tells you the inmates name (sometimes, some inmates don't say their real name in their recording), the facility that they are calling from, weather the call is a free call or a collect call, and to press 1 if you would like to accept the call or press 2 to deny the call or (I think) press 5 to block all further calls from this inmate.
