Rogers recycles its delinquent phone accounts to new phone customers then give these numbers to collection agencies in hope that the new customers will pay Rogers for keeping the phone number. That is what Rogers have been doing to its new phone customers using collection agencies. It is like hiring mafia hands to do dirty jobs.

I keepgetting calls and have no clue who they are calling for as it sure as heck isn't me!   I tried to tell them this an they still keep calling.

they just called my number that i've had a month, asked for billy patten, cbc on behalf of cash money ,and left the  refferance number (6824314) like really ,oh to only callback monday to friday 8am-8pm, then why did you call me at 7:45pm on a saturday, gettin sick of these calls everyweek

I keep getting calls from this number asking for other people, I have explained that this is not the person they are seeking to no avail.  So I have blocked the number on my cell.  Its so annoying that you are paying for cell phone service to be annoyed day after day with this crap.

this is white collar terrorism,,who has the authority to enter into our homes uninvited,to disturb us,,,election time this is a criminal offence,,,make it the law,,,,,there are court procedures,these people have a right to serve papers for court , not to use these threatening calls to interrupt lives.   furthermore when you receive this threat call back 7 times and say nothing,,,let these tyrants earn their living.

you are correct these people are acting with criminal behaviour,there is a legal procedure they may use,, it is the court system,however they choose to ignore the law and employ non governing tactics.,if they continue to get away with this,,perhaps they will set precedent by using force.

It's Canada collections bureau.

CBV COLLECTION AGENCY. Seeking personal information and will not state why they are calling. They proclaim to be calling upon behalf of the Manitoba Justice. When you view there webpage there is no way to pay any outstanding debt other than though on line services. I suspect the caller to be a fraudulent identity thief and misrepresenting the government of Canada through persistent telephone harassment.

Beyond that and to my knowledge I own knowing to the justice system of Manitoba.

I don't owe anybody any money yet this company has my name and a private number I never disclose to any one. Just left them a profanity filled message after countless phone messages.

866 751 2167 and 866 965 5731 is a company called Collectcents Inc. operating as Credit Bureau of Canada Collections.  They are listed on the Government of Canada Website http://www.ic.gc.ca/app/ccc/srch/nvgt.do?lang ... Id=501&app=sold

Every province has rules that collection agencies must follow.  Check with your provincial government.  If you are receiving calls and they have the wrong number they must stop if you ask.  If you owe money, NEVER acknowledge you owe money.  Ask them to sue you.  They have to stop calling and take you to court. Most provinces have a two year time limit to sue but the clock can restart from the last time you admit to the debt.

Got a call come through on our toll free business line. What a scam. We don't use our toll free number for anything except to give our clients a way to contact us for free.

Call the number back from a phonebooth as many times as you possibly can and when they answer burp and hang up.  They call me 4 times a week so I call them 8 times a week and hang up. They do unto me so I do unto them. If you answer your phone and a live person is talking you can swear, and slander them because they the ones calling you. Just don t threaten them. Burp, fart and intimidate them.

I call them from a phone booth at least twice as many times as they call me at home. I hang up on them after a burp.

Keep getting voicemails from this number - automated message that says I need to call back and quote a reference number, but won't say what it's in reference to...

The phone number in question is nothing more than a scam phone call. they are trying to pinch money out of unsuspecting people claiming to be that which they are not. The claim is that they are the Credit bureau of Canada Collections (CBCC) and they do give the correct address of 1450 myreside drive, missisauga ontario, however, the number they give to call back is not of of the numbers for CBCC. if you try to call the number listed on the real website for CBCC, the reference number given in phone messages doesn't exist, and after telling them the number that i was told to call back, they also say it is not one of their numbers - which i believe. however, i have been entirely unable to get them to stop calling me, and blocking their numbers doesn't seem to be enough since they are still able to leave messages regardless on my phone.

Day one started may 12th, 2016, going to document every call i get after today from number 866-751-2167, credit bureau collections1459 Meyerside dr , Mississauga , Ontario

Have called me constantly (either this company or many others of their ilk) looking for Lisa Cross (or Lisa O'Reily -depending which name she's using that day) for two years. Are they that stupid? How many ways do I have to say this - I don't know her, she is not here, this is not her number.
