Keep getting a call once a week for *Garbled* Adam. We've had this number for ten years. Thanks to you good folks who have commented we know this is a scam! "this is not a recording' my ass. Why is your inflection EXACTLY the same, and why are there automated voices giving me reference numbers?

Will this frigging problem ever get resolved !!  Looks like this 1-866-751-2167 has been harrassing people over the phone for years.  We've just recently been victims by these calls, at least twice a week.  We have advised CBCC and our phone number has been on the "do not call list" for more than 4 years.

They pretend they are s collection agency but they
are not. Is is legal to lie.

No matter how many times I tell them they have a wrong number - they still call - for 2 years. Outrght harassment. DNC lists do not apply to these folks. They still get through my blocked number list on my phone provider. WTH.

They keep calling looking for a Tammy Burnes and just keep leaving messages

I keep getting messages from these [***]. they keep harassing me for a membership of a gym payment. I contacted the gym and spoke to the manger of the store who has no idea why they are calling me and reporting to credit bureau UNDER MY NAME when I never had a membership with them, I never had my name sent to collections and I don't exit in the system.. I have tried calling back only to get a cocky [***] who told me and I quote " well we are obviously reporting negatively because your name came up." when I asked for proof he told me he wants my current address when I refused to give it to him he hung up on me. called me back two days later leaving a threatening voicemail, I called back informing him once again he had the wrong person and I will be goin go the police and charging him with harassment and identity theft  he simply told me OKAY and hung up on me. at which point I once again contacted the manager she ran my previous address and found an account under that address however NOT MY NAME NOT MY INFORMATION. so she came to a conclusion that they ran the address and first person with a name CLOSE to what was on the file  they didn't read fuly and just reported to Equifax and TransUnion under my S.I.N. I have contacted TransUnion to dispute this but they refuse to close it or fix it. they called me 20 min ago and now wont answer I have called them at least 30 times left a message every single time informing them that now they will be facing lawsuit as I have all proof needed they are running my credit and my name for no reason and they refuse to fix the  problem when they have all the facts and proof. this is down right abuse and harassment.  if they call you, make sure you get all the information and you go and dig deep these [***] just want to make a quick buck and don't care if they ruin your life for no reason at all. well revege is sweet and karma is coming for these [***]

They are a bunch of [***] suckers.

You can't do me a common courtesy of actually having a real person on the other end of the line. You are waiting my time,  I'm not calling back your lucky I even picked up I'm so busy.

These morons have been calling me non stop for the last month.
They leave an automated message, I called back and they said you owe us money but wouldn't tell me what it was for, and they expect me to just give them my CC Number???

got this weird phone call . i waited on the and some male  answered . I asked them who the hell they were and why were they calling me . the man was very annoyed with me . when i told him I did not like calls from collection agencies for no reason . He hung up on me . Since having this number for 3 years I have had nothing but calls for 3  or 4 different people and getting fed up because no one listens when you tell them it is a wrong number and there is no one here by what ever name they are seeking.

YES THEY WOULD!!!! I owed parking tickets from last year and when I went to get my new sticker for my plate, I had to pay those outstanding tickets before they would give me a new sticker. This seems like a very elaborate scam that is pretending to be a government agency looking to get credit card #s to take money from innocent hard working canadians, from all the comments i've read here and from my own experiences this is a major issue that our government should be addressing, and get shut down permanently, just my 2 cents.

I stayed on the phone to speak too an "agent" got  a male  and when I asked who they were and why were they calling me he  yelled at me for being rude and hung up on me ????????? they have phoned back since but ended up leaving a  along very loud message . today they phoned again. I stayed on the phone till I got a person . told them I was not the name they were looking for and asked them to get the right number. she asked me my phone number and told me that I was very rude. she said all I had to do was say it was a wrong number??? funny I thought that was what I had said. I gave them my number and they hung up on me . So I will see if they do anything . Horrible rude ignorant people . They must be really nasty if you are the person they want. I don't even owe money anywhere .

Tired of receiving calls from people who claim I owe money when I don't.  Don't be fooled - these people have nothing to do with the real credit bureaus - Equifax and TransUnion.  They use the name to trick people.

If you want these calls to stop even if you owe money - do the following:

- Do not admit to who you are.
- Do not acknowledge owing anybody any money.
- Tell them that if they believe that you are in fact this person they are looking for and that you owe money, tell them to take you to court and sue you.  This requires them to immediately stop calling you, remove any claims on your real credit bureau if they placed anything on it.
- If you do owe money, the chances are they will not proceed with a lawsuit as it will most likely cost them more than you owe.  Check with your province, but generally they have 2 years from when the debt occurred to file.  BE CAREFUL, some courts allow the 2 years to restart again if you acknowledge the date even years later.  Don't be fooled by claims of calls from the legal department - if in doubt ask if they are a lawyer and what province they are registered in to practice law.  Check them out.

for about a month now i am getting calls from all these numbers stating i owe money, I don't owe any money, somebody needs to deal with these scammers.

Business has been receiving multiple calls daily for two years from a computer generated voice they call "Rebecca".  Once a month I call the "Office" number - 866.754.2276 and left message that William URSULA was not associated with business or its staff, .  Today, spoke with a live person "Joe" who advised above was impossible as they have only had account since 06/15/2017.  Stated that if I did not like the calls to notify FCC.  I told him I would take him up on his advice...

The phone rang with this number but I kept saying "hello" but no response. I hung up.

A recording from this phone number calls once a week for someone who has long left the company.  I finally listened to the entire message, hoping that a real person may be available to speak with.  Instead, artificial unintelligence shouted out their contact number, case number and address.  This company cannot hire a person to speak on the phone and it continues to harass businesses and people.  An immense thank you for the valuable service this website provides!  I discovered it when I searched unscrupulous phone numbers.
