Got repeated calls from this number. We called back and they said "Hello Brian?" I advised them that this is an attorney's office and told them that we had received a few calls and wanted to stop the harassing calls. They said that they would remove the number. We will see.

not everyone that recieves a call from a debt collector is a loser that doesnt pay their bills. The [***] below that said that is a typical [***] teaparty type that needs their face slapped...people get behind inpayments for many reasons..including illness and death in family etc..to stereotype everyone as losers is just as retarted as a person who would vote for bachman.

i don't know who they are calling for. they only say the frist name.

I received a call from 866-779-8954 when I answered it, they hung up, when I called it back, I got a typical standard recording,a female answers with "Hello"... not who she is or who she is with, when i mentioned I received a call from this number, it went to dead air and got hung up on. While I was taking another call, my husband called it back 3 separate times before he actually got to talk to a live person who was asking for someone we didn't know and that they called on my cell phone number which very few have.

He stated that who ever they are they need better customer service skills as no one addresses their names or their organizations they work for. Clearly its plain rudeness to answer a phone then hang up.

I got a call today from 866-779-8954, it was a recording that said to hold on for an urgent message. The caller said "Hello" then hung up. I reported them to the FTC.

Franklin Credit Services do a lot of "collection" work for A T & T.  After having A T & T for 5 years on their 2-year cell phone plan, I cancelled the service and was soon harassed by an outrageous bill for over $400, saying I "was in violation of my contract terms."  I called A T & T 3 times, each time getting a higher tiered manager, explained I owed them nothing and insisting they end their harassment.  Months went by.  All of a sudden, Franklin Credit Services started calling.  I put their number on my blocked list and then their collection notices arrived...their client?  The idiots at A T & T...again trying to collect money I've never owed.  A T & T thinks that because they're huge, no one will stand up to them.  Ooops.....your next attempt to fraudulantly "collect" will be handled by an attorney, who lives to chew your dumb corporate [***].

thanks to your post i now know why they are calling me. an old AT&T cancellation fee/bill that was suppose to be waived and never was.....well they can sit on it and rotate! cause im not paying them!

Same here...AT&T said I owe them cancellation fee ....which is not true. Is been over 6 years! Now they are trying to call me! No to that!

They started calling after I responded to a text from a Money Mutual type lender. I filled out some of the info and never completed my application. Suddenly, NUMEROUS calls started coming in from various scams like these people. I do not owe money, I just partly  inquired about a small loan - big mistake. These people used to call me and threaten that I was being sued and I or my lawyer needed to call them back. They try to get you to pay $ x amount to make they lawsuit go away. Thing is, there is NO lawsuit! It's a scam. Now they just call and hang up. It's 9:40 on Wednesday night and I JUST got another call from these horrible people. I pray there is such thing as Karma...

Please do not use your fax number or they will harass you until your ink runs out of the fax machine.

Just got a call from this # on a Sunday night.  Legit or not, I don't think that is legal.

Scam artists cell phone and land line companies sell phone lists to these scumbags. Phone companies should be sued for selling phone lists.

I received a call at work from 1-866-779-8954 and he said his name was david, I can't get calls at work.

The samething has also happened to me these people are horrible. Karma I sure hope so.

This number has called twice asking for Mathew Gensen.

I keep getting these phone calls! It is so annoying! I don't answer it and they never leave a message. I figure if it is important enough they will leave a message. This is ridiculous!
