Calls from this number on my on my cell and my work number (direct line).  Whenever I answer, they hang up. i haven't received any voicemails from this number.

This unknown person has called many times day and late night. They won't state who they are and why they are calling until I give my full name. I have asked them to stop calling with no luck.

Received a call on my cell phone asking for my fiance. I went on to tell them that this is not his number and asked who it was and they were unable to give me information other than it was urgent he called them back concerning a dept they are trying to collect. Well we have no dept for one. But they claimed they were trying to collect money from him over an AT & T cancellation. My fiance has never has had service with AT &T. We contacted AT&T and they have no correlation with this collections company. Watch out who you send your money to and what for. They tried doing this to us just the other night! They are extremely unprofessional and rude. Anything to scam people I swear!

Why are they calling?

If you get a call from them they are full of crap. They said I owed 2 debts. I have a credit score over 900 and always pay my bills. Are they serious.   I told them I would investigate it myself. I called the places and I have no outstanding debt. So these people are not legit.

they call my cellphone twice a day (AM and PM) and never leave a message

This people call me all the time but when i call them back they are not answering and i was put on hold forewer.

Automated service called me and I made the mistake of confirming who I am.  It redirected me to a line where I was put on hold for at least 60 seconds, and then "Tracy" proceeded to tell me that She was from Franklin Collection and was contacting me about a debt from someone that I had already paid off.  She refused to let me say anything that didn't sound like I was going to pay.  She was very beligerent and talked over me.  She refused to allow me to explain that I needed proof of who she was because the one I owed had my forwarding address and she kept quoting the address that was taken from the SC IRS when it was hacked.  I had to hang up to keep from using inappropriate words.

This number has been calling me nonstop for over 3 months. They are looking for someone I have never heard of. I tried to explain this to them and tell them not to call back. They keep calling anyway. I have reported them, hopefully that will work.

Some woman from this FCS called me at 10pm about an AT&T bill that I do not owe. Regardless, collection attempts are illegal after 9pm. I told her that but she insisted I pay right then. I asked who she was and she gave her name (which I forgot). I told her I don't give my credit card info to strangers over the phone. She started threatening me and hung up in my face.

This will be reported to the Attorney General first thing Monday morning.

I sent in an application for an apartment and within the past four days I started receiving all of these phone calls. I was even sent a prepaid debit card in my name through the mail. Not sure if this is legal or not, but my dumb [***] can't afford a lawyer. They called and when I answered no one was there. Called this number back, automated voice wanted an extension number, and of course I didn't have one. So it automatically disconnected.

My husband and I speak several languages and our fun is acting as if "no English" and usually the ppl have a foreign speaker call back at which time we simply use diff language. It's having fun vs the obvious response of aggravation. However, I have answered this number several times by muting and no response, immediately hang up. Now where's the fun in that?? Hoping the robot will gdt bored and report as "bad number". Hang in there ppl! This is only gonna get worse with almost no landlines to hunt us down or just aggravate us. Another option is asking detailed info on caller and robotlike state that this call is being recorded to add to your correspondsncd to the FCC. Thank them and click.... Good Luck!

Looks like Franklin Collections is a legitimate company - but, whomever is calling from this number is NOT legitimate and not really associated with the legitimate company, do not give her any money!!!
I just called the real Franklin to let them know that they have someone operating under their name.  I would encourage you to do the same.

Get rid of your land line phone, if you have a cell phone. When idiots call you like this one.... log/save their number into your cell phone (I use an iphone) contact list, then select "block this caller". Ta! dah!... done!

this # 866 779 8954 calling saying i owe money pay them or go to jail asking for a debit or bank card # ,i refuse to give it to him he said i would have a suit filed against me &  go to jail when i asked for his info he got very angry and started getting irrate so i told him i would contact FCC & he hung up

I get calls from this # (866-981-8954 ) they CLAIM they are a collection agency and that I owe some sum of money for an unpaid ER bill. They request that I provide them with a CC # or Checking acct. info to pay this bill. I explain that If I have somehow overlooked a bill that I owe, I will be HAPPY to pay it _ WHEN they can provide me WRITTEN STATEMENT. They said the first time that they would send it out, but since I am in AL and they are "in CT, it would take 7 - 10 days and that I need to give them C or Checking acct info. REFUSED - I have no idea who they are as they will not identify the company that they are affiliated with and I have NO indication that they are legit. 3 days later, they call back again demanding my banking info. THis has been going on since August 3, 2017 it is not September 26, 2017 and I have YET to receive said bill in the mail. FED THE [***] UP WITH CROOKS AND SCAMMERS CALLING MY # WHEN IT IS ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY....
