Claimed to be calling from UPS, and requested to be connected to Accounts Payable. The message would repeat until I pressed the number to indicate they had reached Accounts Payable. I hung up on them. Still likely the same scam others have reported, but if you're worried, call the number on the real UPS website to check. Try not to be overly swayed by messages posted here claiming it's all "legit," evidently the scammers post here occasionally to try to increase the number of people who fall for this.

Got a voice message from somebody claiming they are UPS and that I have to call this number to pay unpaid fees. They even gave an account #. I did not call after I checked online and found these similar messages

Scam. I believe the person who said the scammer post here to say it's legit. I waited on hold two minutes and then hung up.

Just got a call from that number saying that I have charges way past due and that I need to call them back. I happened to get this call after having a ups package delivered from an ebay order tho so it seemed legit but I have been through ups before and they never release a package to me unless i'm there to pay them in person for any fees otherwise they leave a slip in the mail box or on the door to either pay online or call to arrange a delivery time or to come pick the item up. I'm going to wait based on what I've been reading here and other places and see what happens.

This number called me multiple times at 8:32am this morning about owing money to UPS.

Got three separate calls from unknown numbers that left a lengthy automated voicemail saying that it’s UPS through the Canada revenue agency & that I owe them money. The callback number they list is 866 836 4875. UPS has a company policy of holding a package for pickup if there are outstanding duties or fees. I called UPS & a customer service agent confirmed that they had received multiple reports of this scam. UPS advised to report it to the police
