- MysticThis is one of the robo-dialed numbers supposedly from Sallie Mae, except Sallie Mae can contact you by mail if you have a legitimate student loan, or any other legitimate debt.
Be advised that you NEVER have to talk to a phone debt collector, because a legitimate creditor will contact you by mail with a legitimate business name and location. Never give out any info about yourself to a caller. There are many spoofers, identity thieves and scammers out there and they are all using robo-dialers to trap you.- Caller: Sallie Mae
- Call type: Debt collector
- AngieThe calls I've been receiving from this number come from Bank of America Home loans. This is not a robo call when they start at 806 in the morning and continue all day long. From March 25 to today March 30, this person has been harrasing this household that long.
- Caller: Bank of America
- Call type: Debt collector
- Carmelita RitchieI get a call from this number and they don't know anything or why they called me. I don't have no loans so why are they callling me and want me to take messages for someone who don't live with me??
- LeeOThese people are NOT directly associated with Sallie Mae. They are a firm doing business with them under ether a shady contract type operation or they are piggy baking on their clients data. And perhaps are more or less a collections agency with a fancy title. They are enforcers for a loan shark company like Sammie Mae in other bleak terms. My loans are on deferment pending a review to lower my payments, and apparently someone with Sallie Mae panicked and contacted these people before contacting me.
- Caller: Student Assistance Corporation
- Call type: Debt collector
- StudentLoanJustice.org replies to rlSo, which Sallie Mae call center do you work for? Fishers, IN? Panama City, FL? Wilkes-Barre, PA?
- Michiganreceived calls two days in a row, did not pick up. Thanks for previous comments here. I have not had student loans since 1985, so definitely a scammer or someone gave them a made-up number. The toll free callers have proliferated like mad, why can't they be controlled?
- JenniferThey start called at 7am and don't stop until 10:00pm.
- George WinsleyI do not have a student loan

- WilliamGot to www.nomorobo.com. Then, log on and put USA Funds into their records. This stand for no more robo calls. IT WORKS. What happens, is that the calls from these guys, will now go through NOMOROBO phone banks before it gets to your phone. Your phone will only ring once, every time they call, and will be immediately disconnected. It's FREE, and you have to be a Time Warner subscriber, or one listed by them, and just go from there. It works GREAT for us. NO cost at all.
- Caller: USA Funds
- The CalleeI have no student loans. I got a call from this number this morning, diverted it, no voice mail was left. The number is now blocked from my phone.
