I have received several call for a MC whom they claim is my relative.

As was referenced previously, there approach is completely unprofessional.  I bought a new car four months ago, set up automatic billing, and have made all payments on time.  Someone called me from this number, asked me what type of car I had, and then asked me for my address.  I told them that if they are calling on behalf of Honda they should have all of that information and why they needed me, the recipient of their call, to provide it.  They said they needed those pieces of information to validate my identity.  I politely told them that I don't give out my personal information in response to unsolicited phone calls and if they had any issues they should contact me by mail.  They said "That's fine" and hung up.  

Honestly, if I hadn't found this site and seen so many people validating that actually was from Honda Finance, I would have assumed the call was part of some sort of scam.  Who runs a business this way?

I don't even own a honda or have a car payment! These people call all the time!

Yeah, Honda Financial Services. I do have a car loan with them. The person called, asked for me by name, said they were calling about my year/make/model car, then said she needed to verify my address. I was fine giving that out, because anyone can google my address if they have my name, but then she wanted my social and date of birth. I told her no, since I had no way to be sure who she was. I asked if she could provide me with some info that isn't a matter of public record before I gave her any of my info. She said she had already stated what car loan I had. I told her that's a public record, and maybe she could tell me the account number or where I bought it? She said she couldn't tell me any of that without verifying my identity. I told her I couldn't verify hers either, so I wasn't giving out personal info.

Yes, it is Honda Finance. But to those complaining about the calls, if you are late on your payment...can you honestly be complaining about the calls? Just deal with it.

It is American Honda Finance. Maybe some of you people should pay your damn car payment and that you won't have to worry about them calling you. They are not ruthless. You owe them a payment. It's people like you that don't make your car payments that have caused the financial collapse of the banks. Pay your damn bills!!! Stop blaming everyone else because you get to deep over your heads with debt.

I have been receiving 3 to 5 calls daily from 866-950-7780.  Since the call does not show the company who is calling, I always allow it to go to voice mail.  There they just hang up.  I read the other post for this number.  It appears to be Honda Financial.  I have never owned a honda nor had a vehicle financed with Honda Financial or its subsidiaries.  I do not understand why they are calling me and not leaving a message.  I work nights and try to sleep days...

These calls are OK if I'm late. But what bothers me is that they continue to call several days after they receive my payment.  Update your system!

It is a bottom feeding firm called SECOND ROUND.  They buy old debt from companies and don't care if it is correct or not, they just try to get anything out of you that they can.  Dirtbags.

The women demanded that i verify my identity. I demanded that she give her identity since she was the one who called me, I was asking for her Mailing address, badge id, her phone number and her full name. She only gave her name which was not useful in this case. So i started yelling her to hang up and not call again, she started yelling back and wouldn't hang up, how can i proceed legally

Receiving calls from this number several times a day, on my business mobile phone. No messages, No identification on who is calling. I keep letting it go to voice mail, for tracking and recording purposes no such luck, no messages, its from Honda Financial.

This is Honda Financial Services, a DBA of American Honda Financial, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. They are relentless, but the people I get on the phone are pretty nice to me. I have been late paying for several reasons and they call me, then my husband, then our house phone every day until they get us. It's best to just answer; they will state their business quickly. Everyone I've spoken to seems to value my time and doesn't keep me on the phone very long. I give them my plan for when I will pay next and they note it and then they say that they will call the day before that date and again every day until they get the payment promised. And they do! Just pay your bills, people. And if they call you and you don't have a vehicle financed through them or even a Honda, ask them what vehicle they are calling about and let them know you don't even own that vehicle.

I get calls from this number several times a day.  When I looked it up it says Honda Financial Services.  I have never done busintess with them before but I have talked to them many times asking them to take me off the call list which they never do.  Last time I talked to them was New Year's eve the day my dad died.  I told them the situation and told them I didn't have time for their harassment and to stop.  Did not have any effect on the calls.  They continue several times a day.  I have tried to block the call but so far that hasn't worked either.

My wife gets called several times a day on her cell phone from this number, it is Honda Financial Services, or most probably, some sub-contracted collection agency (assumption made from their detestable customer service of which Honda would NEVER approve of if they really knew) HFS has contracted with to find people who for whatever reasons, are being/late on car payments. These sub-contractors care nothing for you or your situation, they only get paid if they get you recorded saying your DOB and SSN as a verified contact for the loan. Unfortunately, they will resort to anything to get this info, the two items of information that NO ONE SHOULD GIVE OUT OVER THE PHONE!!

My wife and I do not own a Honda, have not owned a Honda, nor have EVER financed anything through Honda. We have a Pressure washer that has a Honda engine, that is it. But, somehow HFS has been given my wife's cell number by a family member, co-worker, or friend who used her as a personal reference, so, she is now 'targeted' for this harassment.

We can't change things, but, I have written a letter to Honda, Honda Financial Services, and local Honda dealers, explaining the situation, and also explaining to them that do they really, really want this to be the face of Honda cars in America? It was all I could think of to try and get a 'top down' solution to this harassment. Put the trolling, detestable, bottom sucking sub-contractor collection firm out of business or at LEAST have them loose the HFS contract to make these robo-calls because Honda realizes the black-eye this gives them as a car company. We owned Honda's back in the 1980's, but, would NEVER own one now just because of this situation.

This is a scam... Do not give any information with regards to financial issues with Honda

This number is printed on a postcard I got today advertising 2 round trip airfares to any major airport within the continuous United States. Call within 48 hours and they add 3day/2 nights at a Marriott hotel!  Just call that number and get your gift from Southwest Celebration. It's bad enough to get telemarketer calls, but this way, you call them!

The fine print says the caller is responsible for all fees, taxes and refundable deposits! What a deal!
