I got a call from this phone number

This is TD Canada Trust's loss-prevention desk - it is legitimate.

I agree with Zach -- it is legit!

The TD customer service rep says it is NOT legit. I didn't pick up and just listened to voice mail. They said they were TD Canada Trust's loss-prevention centre calling about my new access card. I did in fact activate a new card recently. Right away I called TD customer service at 1-866-222-3456 (number on the back of my card) and the CR rep said TD NEVER calls customers to ask for their banking info, the number is not registered in the TD system and I should NEVER give them any information.

It's TD Loss Prevention!  The card is on a joint account!!  I wasn't there to answer the phone but I phoned the number.  The other card holder is in Mexico.  The card was Zapped!!!

The TD rep should look for another job.

They call me everyday but they never leave me a message ...

Interesting that they called me and I've never had anything to do with TD.  Big Scam.  Block the number.

I also received a call from 1.866.975.0925.  I called the TD EasyLine Telephone Banking at 1-866-222-3456.  The rep confirmed that it is not a legitimate number.  After one hour and forty-five minutes .....and speaking to a number of people including the TD Fraud Dept., that first answer was overthrown.  It is apparently a legitimate number.  Be certain to speak to a supervisor and get transferred to another supervisor in the Loss Prevention or Fraud Dept.  They do not all know that it is a legitimate number.  I hope this helps.  I hope you get an answer much quicker than I did.

Be aware - this is an automated scam call claiming itself from TD, do not press any key, do not call back.

gave me a number to call thanking me from td bank....this is false

I just got the voice message which said from TD today. I think it is scam too.
