    Tired of Scammers
I received a call from Bob Jones also. He left a voice message saying he had questions about my resume. I just got a call from another recruiter so I thought wow I'm on a roll. I called back and got their voice message. I tried to leave a message. Thanks for post this message board. I could have been taken for a ride.

BOB JONES is all over the country...do not call back.  If this were a legit offer to work...why would he be...how could he be calling from all over the country.   SCAM

The number that showed up on my phone was 408-215-9769, however Bob Jones asked me to call back at the 866-994-0381 number. Left a message it was in regards to my resume.

I also rec'd a call from Bob Jones at Work Save Retire...the message kept repeating itself in partiality.  I too had posted my resume on Career Builder.  Who do they think they are kidding anyway?  One quick check on the internet and I knew better than to even call back.

I got the same message from Bob Jones at Work-save-retire.  I will not return his call.  I posted my resume on CareerBuilder, so that must be where he got my phone number.

Got a call today (I thought the guy said "Boss Jones");  I like many just updated a Career Builder resume, so they must be using a spider type search mechanism.  CB is a net full of phishing, span, and scam generators.  I will skip the return call and I think it is about time to get out of CB as they are inneffective in keeping scammers out.

Wow - I was researching the call I got yesterday from Bob. Same story. I had decided not to call back and then guess what> The phone rang and it was Stephenie from Work Save Retire. I am so glad I spent time researching. I told her I was not interested and to put me on "do not call" list. Thanks to everyone who submitted a comment.

I'm glad I checked this out. I got a call from Bob Jones from the same phone #. A 1-800# ALWAYS raises a red flag with me. I returned the call and got put on hold. I have more things to do than to hold. I just uploaded my resume to Career Builders this week. I guess this really is the price you pay, but I know not to waste any more time with them.  Thanks guys.

    Almost Scammed
I got several calls from work save retire after posting my resume to career builder and indeed.com.  Finally agreed to meet with the retirement planner at my house.  He turned out to be an insurance salesman pushing an annuity.  He asked alot of personal questions about my finances, which I didn't answer.  I didn't buy anything from him.  Have not heard from a recruitor since then.  Looks to me work save retire is trying to prey on job seekers.

Bob Jones must live out of hotels, because the number that came up on my phone was a local number that would put him in NW Ohio today...I actually answered the phone when it rang to find the standard recorded message from Bob, including the 866 number (Red Flag# 1 - If you want to speak with me, call me yourself) I called the local number, and it immediately went to a VM system for WSR (Red Flag #2). So, then I decided to run the number through Google, and found all of this information (Red Flag #3)... 3 Strikes... Your OUT ! ! ! !

He's obviously making a living off being LAME. I will jump on the chance to do business with a company that calls me and states "I have some questions about your resume'" He is leaving messages that misrepresenting his intent. I left him a message that will NOT misrepresent how I feel about this company or "bob jones"

I recd a call from"Jenn", yesterday & today, @ 877 651-9478...regarding my resume....thought she said co. name was work savers hire. Googled & got to this blog. Great info! Will not call her back, however info must be coming from Careerbuilder where I recently reposted my resume.
Anyone know how this is occurring or if we can get Careerbuilder involved?

I have found on this Posting site One person that says they got a lot more interviews. Isn't that the point?
I talked to a woman this morning and she did send their "software", it doesn't look too professional but if it gets me more interviews I'm in.
I will not be inviting anyone over for coffee to sell me insurance, If that is the price of admission I won't be doing anything further either.

I just received a call from them and it just didn't sound right.  I never heard of them before so I went to the BBB and they had 3 complaints for my city.  However; I couldn't see the reports.  so then I just googled them for reviews and found this.

Thank God because I was told a recruitor will be calling my house today.  Now I am prepared.

Thank you all for keeping this going.  People are evil when they prey upon out of work folks.

First call came Benson, NC:  919-701-3072  Recruiter Brad didn't seem very versed in company profile.  I Googled the company while he was talking.  Discussion board mentioned their interest in 401k, IRA, or savings accounts.... said just wait for the question.  Sure enough, the recruiter asked if I had any.  I played along.  He seemed quite excited after I said yes to the question of is it at least 45,0000.  HMMM.  45k must be the threshold for whatever their scheme is.  Just received second call from Emily in Minnesota: 952-466-7010  She's so looking forward to our meeting and going over my portfolio.
