Got the call and when I answered and no one was there answered

Wow. I got the call too. Went to research it and found this. Something is not right about these calls.

just got a call from this number and i have no idea who it is and why they would be calling me and i also am on the DO NOT CALL list..they need to stop calling me

very annoying and I have a DO NOT CALL.  These people whoever they are need to be stopped. Its harassment.

Just received a call on my mobile phone from these nut jobs, as stated by the frustrated recepients of these prank calls, the caller ID flashed "Trinadad and Tobago" fortunately (and usually) I do not answer calls whose origin is foreign to me. Therefore, I assumed a message was left. I subsequently decided to 'return' the call AFTER I've conducted some research on this site (whocallsme.com) and read other comments and experiences. When dialed, I was answered with the following message: "The number or code you have dialed is incorrect.Please check the number and try again."  Unquestionably a scam- chances are these cowards would not have responded had I answered their initial call. Punks!

I rec'd a call from this number as well. It is not familiar to me and they didn't leave a message.

Received a "Missed Call" on my cell from this number last night.  The 868 area code is from Trinidad and Tobago (island nation in the lower Carribean).  Have never seen a USA phone number with the "102" exchange.  Does sound like a scam. Will attempt to block it, and will not answer if they call back.

why do they keep calling? can they get info from doing that?

Called our home phone which is unlisted and on the Do Not Call list. I didn't answer and they left no message. Caller id reads "Trinidad & Toba".

When I called back, a recording said "call cannot be completed as dialed". As others have said, probably not a good idea to call back since it can be costly.

As always, never give personal information over the phone unless you initiated the call to a legitimate party.

i got a cll from this number,i didnt answer but when i went to dial the number to see who it was by the time i got to the last digit the operator came on and said i dialed to few digits. (WEIRD)
no name on caller id,just said name unavailable

This number keeps calling me. I do not answer any calls that do not identify themselves. I even went out and purchased a talking caller ID phone so I don't have to keep getting up and answering these annoying calls. Is there a way to stop them?

Got a call from this number...It is a Trinidad area code...FYI Trinidad and Tobago is not an African scam lol.  The country is no where near Africa. It's actually in the caribbean next to Venezuela.

Is there a way to stop these calls from coming in? I got a call from this number earlier thinking it was my husband who was in Iraq and when there was no answer I assumed the worse until I googled the number and found this.

Got a call from these guys (Trinidad & Tobago), no messages.  How the heck did they get my business number?
Anyone got any ideas how to get legal action against these guys?  Judging from what I found here, it's a SCAM for sure.

This number just called my cell phone.  I'm on the national-do-not-call list...idk how they would've gotten to my phone.  The damn emails from people like this should stop too!!!!!

i got called as well, very few people have my number and i have never seen a 102 number
