Caller left a message for him to call back at this number 8772447901. How the heck my dad, whos living in another country, happen to be called in from here in the states?

Harrassing phone calls to elderly

SCAMMMERS!!  These callers are part of a scam.  They called me about debt collection related to student loans.  I don't have any student loan debt or any debt for that matter.  They called several times the main number of my place of business (as they do not have my direct line), which is another red flag as I don't even know my work general number to give it out.  They tried collecting personal data over the phone, which I refused and said they would have to send me something via US Mail.   Never received.   Sounds like they are trying to collect personal data to pull off a SCAM.

I live in an apartment complex so whoever lived here before in the apartment complex apparently forgot to pay off their student loan. The apartment complex just has one address.

This caller would not tell the nature of the call and said I had to hold on for Alex Sogard??

Left a short voicemail saying there was a message for me (first and last name said). Called from a local number but said to call this number in the voicemail. Suspicious.
