This company already charged me once for a call from Arizona; which by the way I have no relatives or friends that live in Arizona.  Also, the call was supposedly made at a time when no one is home.  Anyway, this company has tried to do this a second time but this time I called my phone company and they have eliminated the charge.  However, they said that I still need to call this "company" to clear the whole thing up.  I have tried calling them a lot of times but no one answers. Also, when I get their recorded messages they contradict themselves by saying different business hours on their messages.  Anyway, is there anyway we can report this to the Better Business Bureau or something?  There is no way I am letting this scaming "company" get any more money from me!

I had charges on my phone bill for a collect call from 661-944-1150 listed in Palmdale, CA. We don't know anyone in California, we don't accept collect calls, and we weren't even at home durring the time we supposedly accepted this 3 minute collect call! I tried calling the customer service number for the company billing me for the call - Billwithus, Inc. 877-257-2455. You get a recording asking you to put in the phone # you're calling about, it rings a few times & disconnects. Scammers! Why can't they get real jobs and be productive citizens instead of trying to steal from those of us that WORK for our money!

I checked my phone bill online and had a charge for a collect call for 21 mins from a company called TRSCN on a day that I was at work. I live alone so unless the dog asnwered the collect call its not possible that I accepted these charges. BEWARE this is fraud!

This company somehow managed to get an $8.48 charge added to my phone bill every month. It is listed as TRSCN CLRNG, with a phone number of 877-257-2455. It is most definitely a scam. I never heard of them, never saw them, absolutely did not ever order whatever services they are selling, and yet there they are, occupying $8.48 worth of real estate on my AT&T bill.

We have been receiving mulitple calls daily through this third party billing company. What to do?? Anyone solve this out there??

I had the same issue a collect call from a number I do not know and no one was at home when the call was placed. It is a shame that the phone companies do not screen this fraudelent charges

Same thing happened to me. A collect call from a number in California for about $9 with TSCRN CLRGN as the item and billed for BILLWITHUS, INC. No one was home that day and could not have accepted the charge. ATT would only refund 40%.

"Billwihtus" charged me for $19.19. Supposedly, someone from New Mexico called me through this "company", when his or her phone card expired. I don't know anybody from New Mexico, so I asked them who was the person that authorizes this called, and they said that this "called" was made with no operator, so they couldn't have that information. I also talked with the manager, Sandra, who promise me an 80% discount, I didn't accepted it. Now I'm writing a complaint.

i too noticed a third party charge on my bill, AGAIN! Earlier this year the charge was from a OSP Communications, who immediately said, "oh thats a mistake", before I even finished explaining they had billed me.
today, i was billed by Transaction Clearing, LLC on behalf of Billwithus.com
the first call i placed to Transaction Clearing i got the automated loop to be directed to dead air, silence, nothing, and nobody.  i hung up and called again, this time i spoke with someone who did credit the charges to me, then i called ATT & they did give me full credit. I do not have a long distance carrier and ATT said that if i signed up with them, it would stop this problem. I refused to sign up because i don't believe that to be true. I know of two other people for fact, that have ATT as their long distance carrier and they too see these 3rd party charges on their bill.

These companies billing us are relying on people to just pay their bill without reviewing all of the charges in all sections. We have got to do something to put an end to this. Tell friends, family, coworkers, EVERYBODY to check their phone bills religously for 3rd party billing!

Transaction Clearning is out of Texas, I am going to look further into making a complaint against them and their business practices. I will be back here to update as more info comes available.

I have received a  charge in my phone bill from Transaction Clearing for a collect call from Arizona, which call NEVER HAPPENED.  This looks like a scam.

We had a $10.80 charge from this company. We have been unable to get in touch with them as the phone company suggested. We do not accept collect calls especially as it was our cabin and we don't even live there.

Same story, slightly diff details. Collect call frm Calexico, CA 760-347-9450 9mins $14.83 on ATT bill, billed on behalf of BILLWITHUS, INC., (it lists them as a new services provided and billed  TRSCN CLRNG) We don't know anyone in CA nor would we EVER accept a collect call. Finally got thru to their Questions # listed on ATT bill (which was the 877-257-2455#) They said the charge would be cleared. ATT operator did not think it was a scam, just a wrong number!? I could pay my bill minus that charge, but it would show up again for a while until they got a refund from Billwithus?! How can they be stopped?

Definitely a scam.  Received a charge on my AT&T bill from Glendale, AZ for $19.77.  The charge was billed on behalf of Billwithus, Inc.  I called the company to dispute the charges and a recording asks you to put in your telephone number.  The phone will ring like it is going to connect to another extension and then you get disconnected.  I am on hold with AT&T right now. They are obviously aware there are problems with this company from the previous entries on this page.  Why are they not doing something about this?  If I do not get this resolved I am changing my phone service.  Never had these problems with the cable company.

I keep getting a charge for $14.31 on my phone bill from Transaction Clearing.  I have never ordered any services from this company.  I have told them to stop charging me and they always say they will, but then then do it again.  My phone sevice provider has also told them to cancel the charge, but it takes 3 cycles each time before I get the credit.  This company needs to be put out of business.

We only use the phone number this was billed to for VOIP & reporting power outages.  Since we don't receive calls on this phone the ringer is never on.  No one else was home that day and I certainly didn't accept any collect calls.  (Since the ringer was off I never heard the phone ring.)  I don't know anyone who lives in Arizona, nor do I give that number out for anyone to call.  Thus it's impossible that these are legitimate charges.  I did a reverse search on the 520 number and learned it is a landline based in Tucson, AZ (Pima county) and is unpublished.  The carrier is Qwest Corporation.  I tried calling it about 1:50 today & it just rang & rang.  The latitude and longitude listed can be seen by following this link:

I called AT&T first and they told me I had to call TRSCN Clearing (Transaction Clearing) at 877-257-2455 since the charges were through them.  Luckily I looked up their number online before calling.  They also go by the names Billwithus & Access Voicemail LLC.  I called them about 1:30 pm today.  The automated system had me on hold for a couple minutes.  However, they must now be very aware of their problem.  The lady answered and asked me for my phone number.  She then asked if I had received a collect call on my bill (yes) and did I answer that call (no).  She said she would credit the entire amount and that it would take 1-2 billing cycles.  I asked for a confirmation number and she gave me one.  I called AT&T back, told them I had called TRSCN Clearing & that I had a confirmation number for them.  The lady recorded it and I verified that I should pay the total minus the collect call.  She said that was correct.

Just got billed $8.43 on my ATT bill for Transaction Clearing.  It says for VOICE MSG SVC SETUP.
I also got charges for ID Select Security INC. for $13.82.  These are both scams and fraudulent. Why is ATT allowing them to do this? It makes no sense. I'll deal with it tomorrow during business hours but I am very frustrated with this. This is crazy!

I received a billing on my AT&T bill for Transaction Clearing. It is for a collect long distance call from Glendale AZ.  This is not a valid charge.  It has all the apperances of a scam.  AT&T said to call the billing company.  I have made numerous calls and the line is always busy.

Found a charge for $5.99 on my AT&T phone bill with the name "Transaction Clearing" and the number 1 877 257-2455. Called AT&T, they cleared it and sent the charge back, yeay! I do not know how this charge got on the bill but I didn't ask for it. Scary.
