This company called me this morning at 6:00a.m. Told me I needed to call something about garnishing my wages. I called back wanting to know who the hell they were, They told me it was all about a loan taken out with PayDay One.Last year I did have aloan thru that company. All was legal and I actually talked and kept in touch with the Real Loan company. I have their names and numbers and my loan is all paid off. These people PDLR are not the real deal they are scammers. They have my info, and claim that I owe their Payone loan place. I contacted The REAl Payday one people and they are very much aware about what is going on. They are trying to stop those scammers..Anyone out there, what should I do about these people when they still continue to call  me?

got a call from a company called payday loan recovery they said i owe on two padday loans .i called both companys they told me i have never taken a loan . this PDLR told me i owe 2500 and they would settle for 900 or make payments . when i asked this lias perkins for documents or dates and the amounts she told me she needs a couple of days to get it together .first call was on 05/04/2011 . i called her back on 05/04/2011 and this is when she gave me the story that since the account was sent to them the two payday loans company have no information on me . and this payday loan recovery is threating me that will garnish my wages from my job ..it is a schammm do not fall for it.

Received a call at work from these clowns Mrs Snider. They are very rude and would not send anything out to me when I asked to send info about the loan. They must have stolen my info from someone. I told them to contact my attorney (just seeing what she would say) and she told me that she didn't talk to attorneys! This is a scam

Thanks for all the comments. It really shed some light on the same situation I have. These same people have been calling from the same 877-258-1188 number leaving messages talking about starting the garnishment process. I finaly called them back and spoke with Ms. Faith I believe her name was. She told me I had a payday loan from Net Loan u USA sometime ago and the interest brought my balance up to the maximum of $2300. I told her that I knew nothing of this payday loan and she got mad. She acted like she couldn't give me any information on the pay day loan company as far as a phone number, address, not even a copy of the loan agreement! We had a very heated conversation before I hung up on her. I called back about 30 min later to get their name and address of the agency. Someone else answered and put me on hold like she had to get permission to tell me their name and address. She gave me:

I got a call from this number this morning. She sounds like she is drunk!! Slurring her words, something about a wage garnishment. I was able to make out the phone number she slurred and came here to see what it is!! As suspected, it is a SCAM!!!!!! I am so so tired of this crap!!!

I received a call from someone from tyhsi company named Ms. Phoenix. She said that she was calling with a wage garnishment for a payday loan from 'Payday Today" in the amount of $800.00 from 2008. I told her that I have never had a payday loan, and that I would never get a payday loan over the internet. She had some of my personal information and she knew my home address. When I requested written documetation and for a number to contact someone, she told me that she would return the file and note that I am disputing the charges. They also left a message on my home phone.

I got a call from these people as well they called me talking about a garnishment against me and I asked what the original amount was for before fees etc.  (they could not tell me).  I then asked who was this loan with?  (they could not tell me)  then I told them that if they wanted me to pay anything they would get me the name of the company before.  and what my original amount was.  They said they would get me the information and have not called me back.  that was a week ago.  Lets see how dumb they are haha.  I laughed at the lady who gives the voicemail recording she is totally unprofessional.

I wanted to add as well.. If it is a real company they will not tell you your personal information.  They will ask you to confirm it yourself.  don't ever do business with a company that just gives your information over the phone that is illegal!  Especially if they give you your SS number over the phone just tell them no that is incorrect and hang up.

I jist received a call on both my cell phone and work phone from the same lady.   She said her name was Miss Thompson in bothe messages.  I asked her all of the pertinent information and she could not give me anything I requested.  It is a scam.

I received a call from this same nunmber. At the time I was out on maternity leave. When I heard the message that was left by as Ms. Gilmore with PDLR group I was scared and concerned because I know for a fact that I havent been ordered to court for anything and I do not owe anyone. I was so concerned I called my mom and she said to google the name of the company and then then to google the number. I am so glad I didnt call them back and get all worked up over a SCAM. It is crazy the things that people will go thru to get money out of people. I hope these people are caught and go up under the jail.

A Ms. Lang called me back for a job opportunity and to set up an interview.  Sure glad I checked out this company.  So sorry for everyone!

Got the same call today from a Mr. Walsh stating a 25% garnishment from my next paycheck, SCAMMMMMMMM!!!! I work in collections myself, i know how the game works!

Received call today, left voice message on my phone at work from a man who said he is with the "PDLR" group, would not leave his name but left call back number 877-258-1188. Said he will proceed with a garnishment order against my wages unless I call him back. My employer already knows to proceed ONLY with a court-ordered garnishment. They will not recognize any other demand. I am sick & tired of all these scare tactics.

Received a call today from Ms. Thompson saying she has a wage garnishment order that will start with my next payment unless I call her back today 877-258-1188 ext. 205. My employer will only honor a court-ordered garnishment so this just harrassment, scare tactics. Don't fall for them.

Got a phone call from a Mr. Garza at a firm called PDLR  877-258-1188, claiming they were going to process a wage garnishment against me for a loan I allegedly took out from United Cash Loans.  When I did a yahoo search for the phone number I discovered that this is a pay day loan collection scam.  He refused to send me any information on the alleged debt, claimed that he had sent collection letters that were ignored and started to try to negotiate a settlement.  When I agreed with him on a ‘settlement” he refused to put the terms of the agreement in writing.

One difference from the others is that this is not a middle eastern voice.  He also is very racist and began to belittle my Italian heritage.

Mr. Garza called me today at work - PDLR 877-258-1188 x. 160, claiming he had received an "action" for me and that I needed to call him back immediately. He may not have had a distinct accent, but he definitely has an accent he is attempting to control by speaking slowly and mushmouthed. Since I am aware this is obiviously a scam I did not and will not call him back

They are calling me and telling me that I owe money for a payday loan.  They can't tell me the name of the pay day loan company.  I believe they are part of a scam.

Pat,  I received several  calls as well for this number ; caller said  I owe $1,800 on a $300 loan, I laughed in the guy’s face.  When I asked about the origination of the loan, they refused to provide the info.  But they will settle for  $500 dollars to clear up the matter.  I did manage to get an email out of them.  They claim they are collecting money of Pay Day Today;  who ever that is...

They called me today, Mr Garza left for me to call him at 877-258-1188 x 160, garnishment proceedings will start, when I tried to call back I got an answering machine, I have had it out with mid eastern guys I'm sick of this crap, thanks for having this post, I have reported to the attorney general, and told them to send me something through my local sheriffs office, they get mad and tell you to stop threatening them.do they really think we are that stupid? Garza may not be mid eastern but I can tell there's an accent there.  Keep up the fight, the more of these scams that get reported the more chance we have of shutting them down.
