I got a call from this number today at 2:50pm and didnt answer the call

Someone called me from this number & would not speak..

This person called me twice within two hours. I picked up the phone the second time, and they didn't say anything after I said that I was the person they were asking for.

I got few calls from this number and i never picked up, caller never left msg in my voice mailbox either.  When I called this number back, it was saying something like credit card service.  Whoever run this phone number or whoever the operator is, my question now is: "How and where did they get my phone number and those phone numbers of these people here?" What's the purpose of the call?

I was called and promised a FREE, no annual cost for 1st year, credit card from one of 3 companies....Citibank, Chase or Discover.  A woman, who talked really fast, i could barely understand her (said her accent was Phillipino), took my information and when I told her I changed my mind, she gave me another phone number to call....8773522800.  When I called that number, I was put on "forever hold", then was informed all agents were still busy and phone line disconnected.
I was given a web site to view all information regarding, Google could not find it or the other web site given to me by the ....2800#, www.favoritecreditcard.com.  I am on the NO CALL LIST.  There must be something the gov't can do to stop these fraudulent activities on the telephone (FCC= fraud).  What's going on here?  Can't I, as a tax paying American citizen, rlax at night with out receiving innumerable irritating calls? I can't see the caller ID without my glasses, usually, since I am DISABLED, I don't wear my glasses while relaxing and watching TV.  These calls put an unbearable stress on me since I have family members calling at odd times.  FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE......DO SOMETHING. I help pay your salary.

Just got a phone call from this number, there was noise in the background.. but no one said anything...

I received the same call several times and decided to finally pick up after weeks of seeing the phone number on my phone.  Somehow the lady had my info and was talking about a credit card.  I don't know how she got my number but it seems pretty scandalous.  I hung up on her so hopefully if she calls back I will ask her to take me off her offer list.

Called me and wanted to talk to my wife, I asked who is this? The voice (Indian accent) told me to go get her "boy". Is said who is this? The voice said I don't want to talk to you, go get her, chicken. I'm so pissed off!!!!!!

I got the same # 8773265877. I have continued to call them back over and over and finally someone named Jacob answered (indian accent) and said he got the # from chase manhattan credit card company.  I told him I have filed a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General and I needed to have my # taken off the list.  I "promised" to take me off the list, confirmed my phone # and hung up.  They have called me about 6 times in a month.  So I suggest everyone try to keep calling back to see if they answer.

I don't know who this is, but they called me today, and when I answered they said welcome to card services.

These guys call a few times a month and no one is on the other line.  I'm guessing it’s an automated call generated thru their network becuase all the calls come in (at least for me) at the same time.  

Ironically, it followed a call from 256-403-4901 who said I had won a $5,000.00 shopping spree, all I had to do was verify my address, SS, and credit card info.

Be warned.

I filed a claim with the do not call registry.  I'm sure nothing will happen, but at least I did something about it

I received a call from this number at 10:06 AM EDT today, October 16, 2007.  The caller spoke incredibly poor English but did give a name ("Mark Thomas") and did  identify his company as "Central Card Processing Department."

His demeanor spelled "telemarketer" to me so I asked him what he was selling.  He was extremely evasive, but did mention several times that the company was from Manhattan Beach (I gather that's an important point in their script, for some reason).  I told him I was on the Nationwide Do Not Call List and there was a pregnant pause, at which point I hung up.

When I googled the phone number I got this site.  Judging from the other posts, I would say this is some identity theft scam.

This is about the tenth time this person has called me asking for my informatin. She and her friend always have a defferent company name  Its a scam and i would hope that the ftc would do something about it
