This is a fraud number as confirmed by my local branch and Wells Fargo Fraud department (call them directly using the number on your card).

I work with Wells Fargo currently in the branch locations. I have had several customers saying they've gotten calls from this number claiming to be Wells Fargo Fraud Department. It is NOT the fraud department and is a phishing scam.

Got a text from this number wanting verification on a check. valid last 4 of chkg account and valid chk number and amount. Called wells fargo they said they never do that and if they sent a text it will be also in you message page on your account.

got the same voicemail from this number asking me to call back.  scammer.
