Report a phone call from 877-355-9925 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Dackalmighty replies to ValerieNo they can not
- DavidThe calls started after I travelled overseas. In Hong Kong I had to give my mobile to get free wifi, perhaps that's where they got my #. Someone said they mentioned TELUS. They are a legit company and would never ask for personal information on an Outbound call
- Annoyed Canadian familyMany people I know have been called by several of the phone numbers listed throughout all of these comments that have been submitted.
Recently, 877-355-9925 has been criminally harassing our family for no reason, claiming to work for Telus. But refusing to identify themselves and when confronted because they are trying to pry for information they have no right to have, they hang up!
When they call and are answered, they asked for xyz person and I politely asked who was calling they say they worked for Telus. I told them that the person they were calling for does not have accounts with Telus and tried to confront them further.... they tried to obtain further information from me but I refused and insisted that they should not call but they were so rude not to even listen to me and hung up.... Calling their phone number back tells me CBD or CBV Collection Services Ltd..... it is not easy to hear clearly which initials are used in the name of their so called company.
These people call multiple times per day and never leave a message..... this phone number above happens to be the most recent number they have been using to criminally harass my family from.
Action I took:
In the telephone book there is a number we may contact to report & connect with proper agencies to deal DNC lists and file complaints regarding Telemarketers. They gave me a phone number to try for the situation that our family , friends and many others are experiencing.
ACESS Nova Scotia ( 1-800-670-4357 for Access NS, Consumer & Commercial Affairs, & other depts. etc ). One of the ACESS NS employees assisted me with more direct information to report my complaint. I was recommended to go online (reports cannot be filed via telephone) www.access.ns.ca click through the site links and find Consumer Awareness to file a formal written complaint. They also gave me a phone number to contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Agency 1-888-495-8501 to deal with so called collection agency calls. There apparently is a different division that deals with Telemarketing issues and DNC registration and de-registration. Good luck to you all in dealing with these types of harassment!!!- Caller: (CBD or CBV) Collection Services Ltd

- Canadian born replies to margI downloaded a free app through play store called Mr Number and u can set it up to stop calls usually from getting to your phone.
- lauran replies to gno it's not, but it is illegal in ontario to call before 7:30, more than 3 times a week or call at all if you send them a registered letter asking them not to call
- Anonymous replies to SCThis collection agency will pull up your credit report and have all your private information. Report them to the federal government. They cannot pull a credit report without your written consent. They can be charged with a federal crime and face a fine and business shut down. Never acknowledge the debt...if you do it will be put back on your credit report and stay on for another 6 years before dropping off.
- Anonymous replies to MadeleineIt's a collection agency for Telus....they illegally pull credit reports without written consent....report them to the federal government and if they call again don't acknowledge any debt and tell them to contact in writing only and by failing to do so you'll report them and they will lose their license.
- irritated beyond irritatedI have received phone calls from this number for 2.5 yrs. They are a collection agency and they tell me I MUST return their call to avoid prosecution. I called them back the first few times. They called me by another name. I told them I am NOT this person, remove this number from your list. They assure me they will. A few weeks later... another agent calls, same MO. I called my service provider. They talked to the agency... a few months later... another agent called. I am NOT the person they are looking for. Tonight... they started again. Apparently, I must cancel my land line phone and when the next person gets these calls, they can deal with it.

- VICTIM OF ABUSERSCBV Collection staffs have celled me more than a month from different numbers(778) 330-2280, (778) 452-2451, (877) 355-9925 etc. looking for a person who is not me at all. It seems like they are from British Columbia. They have called day and night and almost everyday. Every time I spoke to them I told them that they have wrong number. They all say sorry and promise not to call again or shall remove my phone number from their list. But they never stop calling. It has been over a month already that they have called me almost every day. Too many phone calls from them. Since last month I decided to keep tract of the list of their call in.
I contacted my phone company and asked them for help against this kind of harassment and they show me how to block them to call in. And I did but they have kept calling me from different numbers.
Today, they texted to me a message from (438) 796-2848 and looked for the same person who is stranger to me and asked me to call them at (855) 528-5378 "RE Rogers Communication" and they also gave me their file number and their website www.CBVCOLLECTIONS.COM.
I called Rogers Communication and asked them to intervene but Rogers told me that I have two (2) ways to do:
(1) call CBV Collections to stop calling (which I told them every time I spoke to them on phone in vain); or
(2) change my phone number (my phone is business phone - it is impossible for me to do that).
So both solutions are useless. Talk to them and talk to the company that gave the collection file to CBV Collections, in vain.
Now, I think I have to take a step further.
Therefore, I would ask all of you who read this message to support me to stop this unacceptable activities forever. If the legislators want to protect the creditors (minority group in the society) by allowing them to do such a thing, they must protect the majority of the population who voted for them and that that is their job.
Together we can stop these companies from abusing innocent Canadian citizens (we represent possibly 90% of the population) who become directly or indirectly victims of abusive activities and harassment from those guys. WE ARE GOING TO CONTACT THE PARLIAMENT OF CANADA FOR HELP as well as THE MEDIA.
If you support me, please reply to this message. I will open an email account for this matter for all of us contacting each other.- Caller: VBC Collections

- M replies to JennyTHey Don't Read This, Educate your self , as everybody should with the fair debt collections act of your province. there are rules . and by the time they call you it has nothing to do with the original company they have bought the debt for pennies on the dollar and are looking to make a major profit. if it is beyond the statute do not accept the debt. do use words like alleged debt if talking to them and if it is passed statute they cannot sue you.IF YOU AGREE ITS YOUR DEBT IT RESETS FOR ANOTHER ^6 Years
