- AnonymCalls very earlier every morning. Won't say anything. If my kids were to do this I could lose my phone. Why can't something be done to these worthless things that keep making these calls over and over?
- Caller: UNKNOWN NAME
- Retired GII too have been getting these call about three times a day from allied. They say they are looking for a person with a hispanic name. I told them I know of no person with that name and they said they are going to take me off the list. That was twenty calls ago. I finally had enough and being retired I have time and thier dime (877 number)so I call them back ten times to thier one with a bad attitude. I have got them mad, go figure? They have called me back with a anonymous number right after the my call but did not say anything and hung up. The calls have not stopped but I have the satisfaction of making them as mad as me. I owe no one, take pride in paying me bills on time. If you are in that boat and have time, give them a call and voice your opinion ten times to allied's one.
The FTC is doing nothing, the phone company sells time to them so they do nothing. Most of all,the major credit cards and banks use them and can care less how they get the money. Our only recourse is to make thier job a little harder.- Caller: Allied Interstate
- WilmaThey call 2-3 times daily 7 days a week. No message and has been going on off and on for a year. I have had the same # for 30 years. I have not credit card debts, don't owe and don't pay anything late. They usually start around 7:30 a.m. and call midday and either around 5-6 or as late as 9 p.m.

- CPLHave filed complaints on 2 other PITAs (U know, Pain In The A$$es) with the FTC/FCC. The first one has stopped. Still waiting for some action on the 2nd. There are 4 #s that Allied uses. 866-801-0004, 877-350-9743, 888-680-2954 & 877-375-6992. The last 1 is latest. Just got a call 20 mins ago. Rang 3 times and they hung up. That's 2 or 3 times daily in the last 30 days. Gotta try my State Attorney General, she's running to replace Ted Kennedy. Maybe this will be a good canpaign thingy for her.

- Retired GIUpdate to my 4 Dec complaint. It worked, so why not give them some of thier own tactics. 10 calls to thier 1, it sure worked for me and I had the satisfaction of knowing that they recieved the same thing they have been doing to us and they do not like it one bit! And they paid for the calls.

- Dar| 1 replyReceived call from 877-375-6992
I answered call "hello" and heard a ring tone, a nice female came on the line and asked for "Mike" I asked why she was calling this number and she said they had some business with Mike and this is one of the numbers that he might be at. I told her to check her directory more carefully and to try to do a better job. Then I hung up on her. Immediately received another call "PRIVATE" I answered the phone and hung up immediately. No one at my house named Mike, so I have no doubt this is a collection agency. - JohnThey call several times a day every day. I literally have no debt and am single, so they have no justification for harrassment.
- dnalnnThis number constantly calls, yet nobody is there when I answer. Frustrating to say the least!

- annoyed in the deltaMy phone rang before 09:00 this morning. Caller ID shows 877 375 6992 and "Toll Free Number".
A short announcement said something about "debt collection", then a female spoke and asked for somebody by name. I have no knowledge about that name. I took over the conversation and told her that there was nobody at this number with that name, that nobody at this number has any debts (it's true), that I wanted the person to remove this number from their calling list because if they have it listed it has been given to them wrongly, and that if any more calls come to this number the company will be reported to the Federal Trade Commission"
That's the only way to deal with these people and stop them calling. Provided, of course, that you don't owe them any money ;)
And if they call again, I shall report them to the FTC. I have no time for this crap and am only posting this for other people's benefit and to put it on record.- Caller: unknown

- Bubba replies to DarI've been getting the same calls... same crap! They keep asking for someone we don't know and most of the time they don't even answer the phone... I think what the other person said about setting up a fax machine is a great idea... let's all start faxing them do not call faxes everyday! I mean what the heck, these low life's are now calling our home from 7am till 9pm each day even though we have told them we are reporting them for electronic harassment, yet they won't stop... what a sad life, I mean to call good people everyday all day hoping to get some poor sap to pay them.... so sad, they really need to get a life, I mean a better life then being bottom feeding scum sucking freaks! ;-)
- Melanie replies to Debbie| 1 replyThey called NON-STOP, as early as 7:50 am and as late as 10:20 pm. Sunday through Saturday. I finally reached my limit and called the number back. They weren't even looking for ME! They were looking for some person I'd never heard of. I told them that I was not said person and did not know said person and had never known said person. I informed them that this had been my phone number for four years. I wanted the calls to stop and told them they'd better. They said it would take 24 to 48 hrs to delete my number from their system. So help me (or them) if they do call again....
- Melanie replies to MelaniePS. I don't owe anyone any money either and I truly do not know the person they asked for...I'm not hiding anyone from them, and I told them that also. I truly do not know the person that they asked for and I do not owe any money other than the regular bills I keep up with every month as due.
I cannot believe that they get wrong numbers that often...and then to not say anything many times when someone does answer the phone...It's all shady to me...and they'd better stop calling just as I told them to. - frank junnellithey call my 71 year old grandmother everyday, numerous times a day and hangup. i know its an auto dial system, but they say they took the # out of their system many times, they were asking for some1else who doesnt live here. im ready to take action of many kinds against them!!

- cI do not get it, they keep calling numbers that they know are wrong.... What is the point? Maybe get a few bucks ?
- Don GThis company is the pits and continues to harass with auto dialed calls at all times of day and night. Have reported them to the FTC but they need to taste their own medicine.

- cIt is only the bottom feeding dimwitted inbred parasites that continually call trying to collect on other people's debts that harass me.
I wish that 1 person working there (assuming that one these 3rd grade education level gangster wannabe's can read) would read this blog. I DO NOT KNOW THESE PEOPLE YOU ASK ABOUT! I OWE NOTHING AND WILL PAY YOU NOTHING!
Do not ask for my name and address so you can send me a bill from BFE(?). I have not likely been there and I do all out of state and foreign travel transactions by CC, so I would know if I were even 30 days late on a payment.
I have not been late on any payment for at least 20 years (CCs,cars, mortgage). I have a very good credit rating.
YOU [***] DO NOT EVEN KNOW MY NAME! I ask for written proof of a debt and I get a hang up or asked for name and address...YOU CALLED ME!I have lived in the same place for 6 plus years.
You slimesuckers have phone numbers and you use them to harass honest people.
Just a thought....your records might be wrong....
Maybe, a fat finger type-o or 20 or 200 is causing you lost income? You are losing money. You are calling the wrong people!
Get a grip. Stop being grandiose idiots and fix it. Is running a legitamate business too much to request?
What do you gain by repeatedly robo calling the wrong people and hanging up?
Are you such demented b***ards that you get your jollies with this? I hope you get help...maybe some time in a prison hospital will do that...
I will file a complaint with the FTC anc FCC today.- Caller: c
- cI filed a complaint on the 9th. I received about 12 calls since then. I filed another complaint today.
- MikeClass action, I don't think so...The worst damage can be done by them having to defend individual lawsuits for each violation of the FDCPA... If they are calling multiple times a day, 7 days a week, you have actionable cause to file a suit against them:
FDCPA § 806(5) "Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number."
It is not very hard to do so...Check your local counties for information and forms on filing a small claims action against them.
Have your ducks in a row.... You will need proof that the calls were taking place in excess as to annoy or harass you. Get copies of your records from you telephone provider.
Some states have their own laws against such abuses, Contact your Attorney Generals office and file a complaint with them also.- Caller: Allied Interstate

- JoI inherited this phone (it's a work phone) from the guy before me, but the people calling aren't even calling for him, they're calling for someone I've never heard of. Every time they call-- which is probably 4 times a week-- I answer and they hang up, or if I miss it they leave no message. I finally called back and told them to put me on a no calling list. Since then they've called me twice... They promised me the calls would be done in 48 hrs but we'll see.

- cdDaily call from this number. No one is there to respond when I have answered on the early calls. This is a company number which has not been put on any documents for loans or cards so I am not sure why they would be calling it for any collections.
