I just got home and on my caller ID was 877-404-4490
I did a redial and the answering machine said thank you for calling the law office of and all I could understand was Richard something that started with a B.

Caller was very rude and didn't understand how he could possibly have the wrong number.

This is a law firm-most likely a collection type call

This outfit keeps calling for someone that is not at this number even though I told them that name doesn't exist here.

Trying to collect on an account that was settled over 10 years ago.  They are a preditory collection agentcy and will do anything to try to get you to pay.  It is your legal right to tell these people you will press charges if they call again.  You do not need to give them any infromation.  The fair credit act prohibits them from contacting you again once you tell them not to.  They can only send one more contact informing their intentions.  Any thing else is breah of the fair credit act.

The phone number of (877)404-4490 left a message on my answering machine today.  The caller was a woman and she said, "Don, I'll always find you."  There is no one named "Don" at my phone number's address and I don't know but one man named "Don" and he is a 70 year old elder at my church.  The woman's voice sounded ominous.  I am NOT HAPPY.  I want to report this number and have it blocked.

this company identifies itself as the "law offices" of Richard J. Boudreau. they are located in Salem, New Hampshire. i contacted the New Hampshire Bar Association on 7/8/09 and inquired about Mr. Boudreau's status as a New Hampshire attorney. the bar association ran a records check and a member search and informed me that there is NO Richard J. Boudreau listed as a member of the N.H. bar and they had no idea who he was. this appears to be just another SCUMBAG collection agency posing as a law office in order to get people to send them money! I also went on the www.doj.nh.gov website and checked their history of complaints. there are so many complaints against them, just within the last year, that they couldn't even list them all on one page! i am currently filing a complaint with the N.H. Attorney General's office for fraudulent misrepresentation. these [***] need to be put out of business!

Caller from this number was rude.  He didn't give name & was trying to reach my (adult) daughter, who was not here.  I said she 'wasn't available', and offered to take a message.

Caller started telling me he was from a "law firm", so I congratulated him & asked if there was a message.  He asked is she 'wasn't there or wasn't coming to the phone", and I repeated offer to take a message.

He then threatened to sue my WIFE, so I told him to go ahead & hung up on his nasty ass.

Unless you are planning to pay these people... better just to ignore them! Add them as a contact in your phone - ringtone MUTE.

This number has been calling me for the past two years.  They called anywhere from 6 in the morning to like 2 in the afternoon.  One day while at school i even received a very rude message.  I called back and told them i didn't know any kelly bennet  and they promised they wouldn't call again.  After 6 months i got another call from this agency asking for the same person and was completely flustered.

disgusting . probably an attorney with a calling machine. not ready to take the call so it just continued ringing AFTER I wasted my time taking the cal.. Really patheitic and rude.

Just received a call for the first time with this company and it sounds suspicious to me, so I did a search on this number and read some reviews.  The man leaving a message on my voice mail only said by federal law he can't say why he's calling, but we are in breech of contract and it's important that we call the office back immediately to give our side to the situation before they proceed any further.  Not sure what contract we breeched and not sure who this guy was wanting to talk to because he never said.

Called me at 5:29 in the MORNING!!! Isn't that ILLEGAL???

From all of the complaints, this is only one of many calls generated from this #.  The only message left was a most ominous sounding "G-- d---".
I did not waste my time calling them as it is clearly not anyone I would want to speak with.
It does make me feel a little better knowing I can blemish their name on this forum.
They are, no doubt, a fly-by-night collection outfit disguised as a law firm in Salem, NH, Richard J. Boudreau, to be exact. (I suspect the "J" stands for [***]!)
I think I will answer the next time they call and see just how much of their time I can waste before they realize I'm putting them on.  Heck, I'm retired.  I've got to find some way to spend my time.

same deal, scum bag outfit ran by a scumbag breaking the law by pretending .. How the heck do they get a phone company to allow them to register as a law office to show law office on caller id is beyond me..

such positions should be proved ,documented by the companies who provide them with these tall free   #'s that say they are a law-office ..  whats next- fake police dressed a cops knocking on your door ? how far  will this go?

if tomorrow every jack and joe starts calling themselves a law office they can do some horrible damage  to unsuspecting people who have done nothing wrong..


Here is the flip side of the coin..

maybe some of the people they call  have dept but that don't make them criminals and from what i read here, these collectors  speak, intimidate and act as if your a criminal they are about to put in   jail ....  

I mean take an example like this:

If they call a  mother of a Yong person who may have dept and    lives with the parents to get back on their feet and scare this kids mother, she will pay off whatever dept she must to keep her child safe even if she has to go borrow money....

Why ? because it says  LAW OFFICE ON CALLER ID !

WE ARE A MODERN SOCIETY THAT TRUSTS AND ARE NO LONGER USED TO SUCH BARBARIC WAYS ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO LAW RELATED SITUATIONS IN USA...

WE LOVE THIS COUNTRY FOR SUCH REASONS AND HAVE BEEN BRAINWASHED TO FEEL WE CAN TRUST AUTHORITY OR IN THIS CASE PEOPLE PRETENDING TO BE AUTHORITATIVE UNDER COVER SCUM BAGS ...

i don't believe they are allowed to speak about anyone to anyone until they can confirm that they are speaking to the very person they are trying to reach..

a mother, father looks at caller ID, it says law office, they intimidate her/him and she/he now  wants to know whats going on so she/he says she/he is the person they are looking for which believe me is not so uncommon for a caring parent...


how do they confirm thats its the correct person on the phone? probably by asking your name and thats no way to confirm anything these days...

just the fact that someone has to pretend to be a law-office in order to make money makes them more guilty then people who owe because in all reality why must they do that? its criminal ...

Is the economy  to low where they cant get a normal non scum bag operation going?

Are they in dept themselves to take such a low life road to making money ?

maybe others should be calling them acting like they are doctors and telling them that their kids are harmed playing pranks because all that junk is nothing but a    prank

(a registered " white color " prank  taking advantage of blue color workers who may have been laid off or whatever 100 other  reasons it takes to have financial trouble in 2012  )

Thank you for doing that. these idiots are harassing me too from a dentist that was shut down for fraud charging patients for service not given in fall river ma. Still trying to get me to pay for a partial and a whiting I never got. :/
