Don't owe any money so they are not calling for that reason.

My wife had this call on her cell phone and had me check it.  From what I see on this site it is a Richard Bordeau <SP?> and they did not leave a message.  No idea why a collection agency posing as a fake attorney would call her cell.

Thanks!  No idea why they are calling me, I owe no debts, and have never left a balance unpaid each month. But given their rudeness to these other people I won't bother to call them back. Thanks for their other numbers, I blocked them all.

Just got a call from a "Barry Smith" from this number. I asked to take a message and he would not leave one. Number is blocked now!

There was too many holes in their story. They stated that my account went into collections. They started to state an address of one my relatives (I have never lived there). So, I called my account and they stated that it has not gone into collections. I asked for an e-mail address from them to send this so called letter they sent me (that I have never received). Found thier website and the name they gave me happens to be the senator for Upstate New York "Ted O'Brien". Just when I was about to give them money to pay this debt. I did this research, be careful, these people were sneaky and got information on me, that is scary!

I received a call but did not answer. To my surprise they left a message claiming to be a law office working on collection claims. So I blocked the number!

They can't threaten anything.  there are specific rules for collections agencies, and this one looks like they are violating every single rule.   If you report them you could be eligible to sue them for damages/harassment, etc.   PLEASE REPORT THEM ASAP.
