These morons just called me at work and threatened me with being served papers. They had my first name right, but not my last. They wouldn't tell me any information when I asked for Validation of Debt via USPS. SCAM.

These guys are circus clowns, and their fear tactic is completely illegal.  They have been harassing my boss, brother, girlfriend, and now my mother.  They have no case, and no clue.  I really hope that they get what they deserve.

CEASE AND DESIST

To whom it may concern:

I received a phone call from a Ms. Taylor on Wednesday October 10, 2012. I didn't answer due to it not being a recognized number and a voicemail was left. In this voicemail Ms. Taylor proceeds to accuse me of owing a debt from 2004. She also stated that this needed to be resolved immediately or a law suit would be filed and said good luck. Then on Thursday October 11, 2012 she contacted my elderly father and shared information with him that broke many laws.
As of today's date your company and anyone who works for your company and or represents your company will cease and desist from all further collection activities to include harassing phone calls to this individual and or his family members.
Per the Florida Statutes 559.55 if there were a debt it is no longer valid and has been dropped from all major credit reporting agencies. Also, your employee violated FS 559.72 that states when contacting family members you may only verify name and address or contact info for the alleged debtor. Per FS you must have a legal right to collect debt in the State of Florida by being registered. Per FS you shall not use threatening words to include "law suit", "civil suit", or any other type of legal actions towards the alleged debtor. All of these above Florida Statutes have been violated by your companies representative. A complaint has been filed with the Florida District Attorney's office in Tallahassee as well as with the Better Business Bureau-BBB online complaint system.

Had a call from this number from Brian Davis saying I owed. Have lawsuit ready.  Does this name ring bell for someone

I also got two calls from this same company, Westwood Asset Mgt, David Anderson.  He was very rude, very threatening saying they were filing a lawsuit against me. I do not have a payday loan, no debts and they refuse to stop calling me. I think we all should file a class action lawsuit against them!

I received a call from a private number today from Michael Radcliff a pre-legal procesor advising the same as you have all stated. I have a pending lawsuit in McHenry County and if he does not hear back from the processing party by 2PM tomorrow he will proceed to the fullest extent of the law with local and federal charges. I was dooped before and they got over 700 out of me... this time if they call back and I speak with them I will tell them to proceed and if it truely IS a bill I owe- I will pay it through the court system. How do these idiots get all of our personal information?
How do I investigate and file a complaint regarding this?

I received a call Heather Goul several times from a private number. I was told I can contact hem them at 877-454-556. They stated I had an outdated loan from 2006 in a state that I wasnt living in at that time. They said that I would have a lawsuit in the amount of over 4 thousand dollars but they could settle for 560.00 which is the amount the original loan was for. I've never seen this on my creit report but I was afraid that I could be stuck with court fees and the 4000 so I gave them my cc information like a fool. I asked that i received something via fax stating what this was for. She said I would receive something in 15 minutes. Well I never did. I am now calling my bank to stop this payment from coming out. I think this is some sort of scam.

I received a call at work from this number and the person on the other end asked for my Boss. I told them he was unavailable he asked what is the correct steps to serve an employee; when I told him he would need to call our Human Resource Dept. he then asked if he could leave a message for ME. I took down his info. Which was 877-454-5563 to call back and speak with Michael at the finalized dept.  The dump a** thought I was another person, but then called me by my name. They have call and threaten me about being served with papers. They even called a good friend yesterday and pretty much flat out told my friend that he was me. Until he said what’s your number and I’ll call you back to verify my caller ID. This company should be shut down for breaking the Fair Debt Protection Act. They are scum of the earth. Besides I had this resolved about 9 years ago, so I don’t why the bugging me now.

I have received a couple of calls that were in fact for either my dad or my brother.  They left a threatening message on my answering machine.  I called them back today after realizing they HAVE to be scamming.  I used to work as a paralegal and know that a real legal team would never leave such a message on an answering machine, leaving many details of the so-called "lawsuit" without first verifying it was the correct number.  So, I called them back this morning with the intent of really letting them have it.  I gave them my number so they could look up who they were calling/scamming.  They then said that message was for ***** ******.  I said, yes, and you have the wrong number.  DO NOT CALL MY HOUSE OR CELL AGAIN.  Then they hung up on me.  I'm not sure if I should even tell my dad or brother.  They would probably become worried, but on the flip side, these people are sharing details, whether they are false or not, with other people.  That is illegal. So frustrating!

I just received the same call from Maxine Billings 1/15/14 at 11:45 am, claiming to be an independent processor looking for a family member. She also informed me that by law she was required to give the name and number of the person that would be filing this lawsuit, called D S Associates and left a return # 866-258-4487. Maxine Billings stated that if they did not hear back that they would go to my family members work place with a summons between noon and three and if for some reason my family member wasn't found there that they would go to the residence between three and six. She also stated that if I didn't contact them and did not show up in court that all legal rights would be waived, the Sheriff was coming and so forth. I found it all strange, tried googling the number with no results, so I googled her name instead , glad I did. I wonder who I should report this scam to?

i just got a call saying  they are ADR Arbitration and that I owe money from paradise cash advance and they have me on fraud charges for a check without funds. They said they have a docket ans papers to serve me 1-877-454-4291. Funny thing this is supposedly from 2008.  This is a scam to make you pay something you don't owed.

I just received a call from Maxine Billings on 07/22/14 also claiming to be an independent processor.  I contacted the number 866-258-4487 for DS Associates.  I was told first I how $1,700. but if I give them money today I can get it down to 688.61 that I owe for an old bank account.  I think scam.

This scam continually calls with different numbers.  This is just one of many.  I will not answer because I know it's a scam.  Everytime I block their number, they call with a different one.  Same recording saying I must call or they will proceed with actions.  It's a scam.
