Same thing happened to me, I requested information about the Ford Fiesta on the internet, was bombarded by calls from this number as well as from a local car dealership.  Big turnoff, I wound up not visiting the dealership, putting my car search on hold a bit longer.  Number blocked through my Call Control software on my Android phone...

Got a call, and voice mail msg from this number.  Didn't answer it, but tried to call it back to tell them to stop calling.  The voice mail was dead air and when I tried to call the number, it never would go through.

Same exact thing for me today.  Several calls from unknown numbers and we've been looking into cars, and submitted a few requests for more information.

This number is a third party company that has no relationship to the dealership other than they call people on behalf of the dealership. It is harassment and the company name is ELEAD call center. The person calling gets a bonus if you make an appointment to go to the dealership in question. If you tell them to quit calling you and they do not it is a $10k to $15k fine to that company.

Thanks for the ELEAD info. I called them up and asked to be removed from their call list. So we'll see in the next couple days if in fact it worked. She sounded like a nice lady and was very apologetic.

WHEN THEY CALL AGAIN, ANSWER AND SAY OH, TOO LATE, I JUST BOUGHT A NEW CAR. THEY WILL TAKE YOU OFF THEIR CALL BASE.

I was on Ford web sight looking for a new car,if this is the way they do business I'll start looking at Toyota,I got at least 5 calls from that number ,when I answered no one was there,when I called back no one answered

@ this site & others, sev posters seem to think it's connected to vehicle inquiries (net &/or actual), most noted: Ford.  Rather strange that there is a FORD GIVEAWAY AD interjected right into this particular reporting portion of "Who Calls Me?"?????

This number calls and leaves NO message.  When calling back they hang up when I ask who this is.  It would be nice to know which company this phone number belonged to so that we may get our number removed.

I keep getting calls from 877-565-1688 - no one there, recording answers "all circuits are busy" recording.  Who is this calling?

Caller keeps calling and when I attempt to call back the number, I receive a voicemail informing me to call back on business hours because they are presently closed.   This is about 5 minutes after they call me.  They have a man's voice recording stating:  "I am not receiving calls at this time."  They also have a woman saying something similar but in an automated voicemail response.

made a few calls to different dealers and now i get called every day with no one on the other end

oh thank you!  i got "no answer" calls from this number and yes, i had requested a vehicle quote two days ago.  Never would have connected the two.

I was researching car prices on www.Truecar.com and got phone calls from various dealers, they went away when I told them I didn't want to talk to them. Then this mysterious number started calling me.

Interesting notes here.  I have been inquiring about a car that my wife is interested in.  And this morning I get a call from this number.  The only site where my number got entered was www.truecar.com.  I answered the call but no one was there and it ended quickly.

Asked for an internet price on a new Ford vehicle. Got a few calls from this number. I haven't answered, and they haven't left a voicemail.
