yes, that's what it is. I was searching for a new vehicle then the calls started.

I was on several websites yesterday looking for a vehicle.  I just bought one yesterday and the phone call came today.

I live in northern MN. Just viewed cars online last night on the FORD website. Calls started today from this number. GRRRRRR!!!!

call the number and tell them to put you on their "Do Not Call" list.

I bet its from www.cars.com

i was looking at mustangs on the frod website yesterday night.. of course they ask for your # and email... and I've gotten 2 calls already this morning.
anyone know how to make them stop calling????

Was looking for a used vehicle last week and purchased one on Friday.  Started receiving calls from this number last Thursday evening.  No message is left and when I tried to call the number back it disconnects the call without ever ringing.  What a harassment!

You cannot call the number back.  It disconnects without ever ringing when you call it.

Didn't answer and no message left.  I too recently requested info from truecar on vehicle pricing, etc..  Seeing previous posts it seems to be a pattern.

Related to a car dealership search - I had requested information on a new Ford SUV from a local dealership via their "Find Me This Car" option at Ford.com, and subsequently received phone calls.

Repeated calls, several times a day, all hours, doesn't leave vm no one there when I call it.

Been actively looking for a car, and yup, calls started. I'm in Las Vegas, so number must be a universal.

Same - inquired about a car and the calls stated within 5 days.

Please put me on your DO NOT CALL LIST IMMEDIATELY!

received a call from 877-565-1688 - no message left.  I have received calls from this number before and never a message is left.

They call me all of the time ever since I was in the market for a car. Even after I bought the damn car, I get calls from them. If you answer it and wait 8-10 seconds, someone will come on the line. I like to wait until they do and turn my speakers up.

Have you ever been to a used car dealership? If you gave one used car dealer your number, then you "agreed" to allow this company to call you. The National Do Not Call Registry is a load of crap.
