This is a legit call from TCF Fraud prevention, not a scam

Definitely Legit. The message after answering this call even states:"If you are uncomfortable answering these questions, call the number on the back of your TCF credit card". So, I called TCF Bank number on back of card (800-TCF-Bank) (823-2265) and asked customer service representative if the number I received a call from (877-585-6486) is a legitimate number, and they stated definitely. These are multiple answered questions asked, that you have to answer correctly by correctly pushing the correct number given.

While you’re correct that you shouldn’t give the go to anyone who calls you, please do call your actual TCF bank to verify that this number *is* actually their fraud department phone number. Don’t take anyone else’s word for it.
