Says person in jail, but know one I know of in jail.... think its a scam says you need 25.00 to start acct. to receive phone call.

We received a collect call from a man called "money"  Hung up ASAP

Called at 6:39 am left message saying it was privileged  attorney-client call, and wanted me to accept the charges. Has to be a scam

I think (and I stand to be corrected here)  that this number is owned by Correct Solutions Group and is a centralized number for many correctional facilities.   I am led to believe that this is how it works---- When someone calls you from prison  it is initially a collect call ,for obvious reasons, however after this you will be offered an account from about $14 to pre-pay for their calls which I am told works out cheaper than standard rates. Because the calls are routed through this number from anywhere you are not able  return calls through it.
Sorry to be a bit a vague as my knowledge is 2nd hand but I am sure someone will correct or expand on this.

I received a call from this number on 7/11/2016 at 4:21 pm today and a so called correctional prison. The Person which was a man said don't hang up, and a recording was saying to pay a collect call, so  hung up.

I believe you were embezzled out of your money. I would suggest you contact your local sheriff's department to have a proper investigation done on that number. Your personal information is at risk of being misused if this goes unreported.

I received 5 calls from this number on my personal cell phone number, all in the space of 5 minutes, despite the fact that I had them blocked. This is supposedly from a corrections facility. I do not know anyone there, I do not know how they got my number, and I do not appreciate getting these calls. They were all collect, and they all left recorded voice mails. These calls had better STOP or I will be contacting the Sherrifs office and my attorney to try to find this person and stop them.

If you get a call from this number it is an inmate trying to contact you. If you would like to find out who/where it was from, then you can call the number back to reach the call center and they can assist you with that information. It is not a scam and you only need to prepay for calls if you want to receive calls from that inmate. They can also assist with the correctional facility information if you need it. Or they can place a block on your number if you wish to not receive any more calls.
