Received a call from 1-877-708-2920 requesting that me and my "significant other or spouse" should join "Global Vacation Network" for a SHORT presentation to receive a free 3 day/ 2 night trip to one of four destinations, plus $300 in groceries that you can use at any supermarket near you.  I immediately went to ripoffreport.com and looked up the name of the company they gave over the phone and obviously this is a shady a$$ scam.  There are probably a hundred complaints on there about there fraudulent practices and people getting ripped off for hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars, thinking they are buying a reputable timeshare opportunity or merely going just for the "FREE" trip and it ALL turns out to be totally bogus.  DON"T give in to these suckers and attend their scam presentation.  I know the "free" stuff sounds too good to be true...and that is EXACTLY what it is!!!

I just got the tail end of the message on my answering machine this afternoon, saying I was a finalist in a drawing for a Ford Explorer - a contest that I never knew about, let alone entered. I found this website when I googled the phone number to find out what the scam was. I didn't get the caller's name (or purported name), but the number he left was 877 708 2920, ext 0. He had a weird, high squeaky voice.

I will take no more from this fraudulent number (877-708-2920). They left an arrogant phone message, and when I called they said they needed my name. I did not give it to them and asked them why they called me. They kept asking me for my name, which they already had since they were the ones who called me. They are committing fraud across state lines, and as such it is a federal offense. I reported them to the local FBI office, who told me that they had been asked about this phone number before. CALL YOUR LOCAL FBI OFFICE. They are onto these guys and will take action with enough complaints.

Same spiel, received this call from Nicholas Ball today (9/24) about the Explorer or Navigator.  Have not and will not call back, also on the DNC list.

Dr Hearts scan comes up on the name and ID with the number as 708 679-0759 that shows up on the caller ID.  won a ford explorer and very urgent I was to call...  If I won Id take it, but I called at night heard muffled voices a little noise and then they hung up.  After I tried to call again there was no answer.

Received a VM today from Doug Light, 877-708-2920 ext 0, saying I won a Ford Explorer and it's imperative that I call him back to claim my prize. This clearly hasn't been fixed by the FBI, yet.

I just received a call from 708-679-0759 saying I am a finalist in a drawing to win a Ford Explorer or Lincoln Navigator.  Call back number is Nick Ball at 877-708-2920 ext 0.  I called back and never reached Mr. Ball the person answering the phone was unprofessional. I knew it was a scam. I was told I would get a call back within 48 hours.

I got a call as well from 877-708-2920 and it did sound like he said Kevin Nash.  His message said that it was imperative that I call him immediately at the above number ext 0. I knew right away it wasn't right and I also tried calling the number but it just rang and rang.

I,too, had a message from Nickolas Ball at 877-708-2920 saying I was a finalist in a contest to win a Ford Ranger or Lincoln Navigator.  But, I had not entered a contest, so I did not return the call.  A second message came yesterday, saying this call was a final attempt to reach me, yadda, yadda, yadda.  I asked my son to see if he could find out who this was clling me.  He thought it was a Sweepstakes Scam immediately, but looked online and sent me to to this website where I have read similar stories.  It appears he is right.  The FTC needs to end this kind of calling.  BTW, I am on the Do Not Call List.

Just got a call from some strange person who sounded like a sick cartoon character saying I was a finalist for the cars mentioned here think the last name was Nash.  Same number as well.

Same message with the 877-708-2920 number.  It came in on an Illinois number that seems like someone's home. It was 708-6470921 and is listed as a Bonnie Redmond of Homewood, IL. The recording was from Tim Nash.

Got the same call from Nick Ball, if that is even his real name.  Caller ID said 708-679-1590.  Left the same call back number 877-708-2920.  This is like the fourth time we have been called by these jerks.  Same identical message every time.  The first one started two or three months ago.  I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST!!!  These guys are clearly a scam.  I hope they get these guys soon so they stop calling me!!!!

After erasing about 8 of these messages from my voice mail, I called to tell them to put me on the do not solicit list as I had never entered a contest.  The man who answered said "Quit entering contests and wasting our time..."  Call center rep was delusional and hostile.  Wish I could turn them in for fraud and rudenss

Got a call from 708-679-1612.  It was a recorded message saying I had entered a sweepstakes for an SUV.  I needed to call 877-708-2920. This is the last attempt they were going to make to reach me.  I do not see the number having called before on my caller ID.

They called me and left messages twice (from two different numbers) insisting I had won a vehicle.  The caller's name was Tim Nash at extension 0.  I called back.  Tim Nash wasn't available.  The 'associate' asked for my name.  I said, "If I really won something, you already have my name." "Ma'am, we handle national prizes, I need your name to verify that you're a winner."  I said, "You just called me telling me I am a winner.  I just called you back.  Caller I.D. is right there on your computer screen.  Who am I?"  "Well, ma'am, if you have doubts, call back in an hour and speak directly to Tim Nash."  Horse patooties!

Got the VM from Doug.  Called and Doug was busy ,got someone else.  I said I had not entered a contest.  He asked if I was the only one in the household.  I said no, and my husband did not enter anything either.  He asked for my phone number and said it was not on file as a winner and they must have called the wrong number.  SCAM! Call back number was 877-708-2920 Ext. 0
