They keep calling and calling and not saying anything Iwish it would stop.

please stop this people.  I called them back and the request for your social security number.  That it's suspect.

It is from a company called Regional Acceptance.  I think it must be a collection agency.  At first they were leaving a message asking for a return call for a specific name. Recently they have switched to a new name.

Of course, no one works here by that name. The funny thing is that the line they are calling is not a public line.  It is for the use of County Govenment only, so I have refered it to my boss the Sheriff.

If it is a scam as the above comment would suggest or even if it is legit, he'll no doubt refer the issue to SLED (sort of the SC state equivalent of the FBI) since it would not be within his jurisdiction.  Since the return call is in NC, I guess SLED would contact their NC counterpart the the SBI or the FBI.

The reason this is an issue is because Regional Acceptance is using a dedicated public saftey resource.  Something akin to calling 911 for the fun of it.  While I think that it is incompetance on the part of Regional Acceptance, it could be construed as a willfully illegal act.

At any rate I am tired of this and am going to follow up on my complaint until I see some results.

If you do talk to one of their "representatives" be prepaired for extreme rudeness. They are very rude people. I wish I would have never co-signed.

Car Loan Company Regional.  1 Wk late due to this economy?  Well I guess being unemployed for over 16 months,  and never never late!!!!!!! Makes them call and leave rude messages.  Give me a break.  Trying to stay above water is all we can do and to have these smug employed callers, call for payments.

I resent these [***] using up my cell phone minutes with their unsolicited and unwanted calls, then having an automatic recording telling me to enter the last 4 digits of my SS number.

apparantly when you finance thru them they require their financees to give a list of 10 friends and family members to contact if you are late or miss payments. Maybe you are one of the friends or family members of someone who is behind on payments?
Id you finance thru them...after being 30 days late they will call everyone on that list...how embarrassing...don't pay them late.

Please sops the people from calling me. They do not say anthing and when you call them back it it a busy single.

They will call everyone of my refrences if my payment is ONE day late! and when you do talk to them, they are unbelievably rude!! they have called me 17 times today(literally! i've been counting!) and my payment was due YESTERDAY!

It is regional they are ridiculous man they cal 3 times an hour some days always up to 9pm i answer the call and it just disconnects. i have a car loan and I am late since being out of job for 8 months and staying in touch with my local office. oh well I reported them to BBB keeping a log of my calls. Anyone who files a civil suit hope we shut them down.

My son keeps getting calls from this number. He doesn't even have any debt to collect.  I assume he has someone elses old number and they have called about 10 times in the past month. When I call I have to enter the last four digits of my Social to talk to anyone, so I cannot tell them to QUIT calling my sons phone because I am not giving them my social.

They called my job for 2 days when my payment i mailed in was late by 2 days. this is my first loan but i dont like them already. i havent even have the car 3 months yet. but after 6 months of payment history my Credit Union says they will refinance it for me. and thats what im planning to do. they hit first time car buyers with high interest rates. by want have to worry about calls 24/7. if you can everyone with this company need to Refinance there loan and find another bank or credit union to take over the loan.

I totally agree with each and every one of you...these people are so ruthless. They will start calling a day before the payment is due. Grant you I am laid off it takes my last 2 checks to make the payment grant u I am making my payments.The may be a day of 2 late but the get it before months end. I have only got 22 payments left of 60months. I WILL NEVER LET THEM BE MY LOAN COMPANY AGAIN!!!!They once called me 21 times in a week.

THEY KEEP CALLING ME! They claim to look for Jennifer and April Pardue. But see, they aren't the only ones calling for her! I've had an orthodonist I believe calling me about an appointment. I'm thinking about calling these people back and tell them that they have the wrong number and to stop calling me!

Any idea who they're calling for or WHO exactly that is?

They call and its an automated recording asking to call back to the same number.  You then get a automated system asking you to enter your FULL SOCIAL SECURITY.   I wont give that out and hang up.  There is no option to talk to a person.  If its a car finance company, My cars are paid to date with B of A and BMW.

Received another call, this time got a number where you can call and talk to a LIVE PERSON.   The debt is for an alod customer, I just got this new cell number.  Very helpfull and they removed me from the list.  Call (866)380-9730

I owe no money to anyone and they use to call at 8 then 3p.m. and now around 5p.m.every single day.  Even  when I am out dining with friends.  My son is an att. and I am going to have him call them.  this is frustrating, annoying, irritating and stressful.
