I receive 2 calls a day from his number, always in the morning and again in the afternoon. No one is ever on the line and they never leave a message.

I have received multiple calls from this number and no message is ever left.  I am on the Do Not Call list.

I was suspicious about "verifications" asked for by callers on this.  Wells Fargo says that the number "is not theirs" and is probably data mining.

They called and asked for someone that is not even at my house.  Usually it's a collection call for the previous person so I'm usually not to happy and told them they have the wrong fu*king number.  The guy said "you're a stuid idiot, what do you think of that"  thats when i went off on him and he hung up.  They are not on my [***] Clown list so i know to answer as rude as possible now.

I amswered and a message machine told me that the company calling was telemarketing for fire insurance. Then the message said if you have questions, call us. Then....the message disconnected.  WHY WOULD I RETURN THE CALL???

No message - Calls often - On DNC list - no delinquent accounts.

My brother-n-law received a call today, asking if he knew me, he said yes, then they hung up?! I dialed back and it was Wells Fargo.

Same story for me.  Calls, no message.  Jerks!!!!!!

Wells Fargo selling insurance to customers. Legally they can call you even if you are on the DNC list if you have done business with them.

Call back after business hours. Listen to the recording...it gives you an opt out option that removes you from their system.

For me it was Wells Fargo that called about a special promotion

It's actually a Wells Fargo number.  The reason for their call is a promotion of some sort.

I get a call from this number every couple of days.  Wells Fargo Bank... exciting new program.

I agree with dave. If this was on the up and up there would be a company names displayed(and not a FAKE company name). I have gotten these calls and I have NEVER banked with Wells Fargo and they NEVER leave a message. Must be a bunch of drooling morons.

several calls and noone on the line.  So I stopped answering but th calls continue.

The calling is very annoying.
Usually 2 to 4 times every day.
I called this number back and they said
Thank you for callinf Wells fargo.
It was something abour promotional offer.
I wish they would stop calling.
nothing I can do about it I guess.

Repeated calls varying from every day to every couple of weeks, no message left.  I have heard that companies associated with companies that you do business with are allowed to call you (for example, if your bank has business dealings with insurance co's).  Also, some large companies, universities, or offices somehow have one number that shows up on caller id if any extension within that company calls you--thus not giving away any internal numbers.  Nice trick--I wish I could do that.
One of the common threads I've seen is that people who get these calls do business with Wells Fargo.  I'd switch except that I'm sure they aren't the only ones.

They are very annoying. They call almost every other day. I hang on them...
