Called back and it was a recording from Wells Fargo.  It says "Thank you for calling Wells Fargo.  We tried to reach you regarding a 'special promotion'..."

Called and asked for my wife. When she picked up no one was there. Didn't pronounce the name correctly anyway. A general nuisance.

I called back and the automated system says "Thank you for calling Wells Fargo, we reciently called you about a special offer..."

Yes, they called me too. But the message hey left said they were from an insurance company. I called back and opted out- we will see!

I reported them to the DNC list, maybe you can too!

Go into your online Wells Fargo account and set the privacy options to NO and it should stop this.

Calls, hangs up, Calls hangs up....over and over and over....I can't stand it!

Received a call from WELLS FARGO selling all kinds of Insurance thru a telemarketer company. Said 'Not Interested.'  they still call several tmes a week, although I am on the DO NOT CALL government list!  Very annoyig.  Am moving my accounts to anoter bank.

I called this number this evening after seeing it on caller id and they say there is an important message for me from Wells Fargo and that they attempted to call me this evening and will attempt again later.  I was asked to press 1 if I didn't wish to receive the information.

18 calls in the last two weeks.  enough already!  I answered this number beore and it was a promotional company for Wells Fargo.  I thought that would end it, but not so.

keep getting calls and no one is there when i answer.  been on the dnc list for a few years but it doesnt seem to make any difference.

I have received several calls a day.  Finally answered to let them know to take me off the list.  Rude woman calling herself Christal said that they are trying to contact my son who supposedly used our number as a contact number--he moved out 15 years ago.  They won't tell me what the call is about. Definitely a scam.  To whom do we report this?

Have gotten these calls for at least 6mo, 5-6x day, 7 days/wk. Latest was Global Contact, marketing firm hired by Wells Fargo/WF to sell insurance. After hearing my severe tongue-lashing about their harassment, rep turned me over to a supervisor who heard another rant. Promised to remove my # from list, however warned that Wells Fargo hires lots of mrktg firms to make calls so I have to talk with each/every one and make similar request. Since I have my mortgage with WF, I can't even get an unlisted # because WF would give that # out. Just tried calling toll free 1-866-226-7342 Wells Fargo Insurance Srvs in Chicago, but not opened on weekends. Will call on Monday and report back.

I just recieved a call from this number, a male was on the other line, didnt speak to good of english, and just hung up, i called back, a recording from well fargo played, saying a rep was trying to contact me, regarding special promotions, dont have anything from Wells Fargo, so i hung up.

Have been receiving 2 calls a day from this number and I never pick up since I have caller ID.  Got tired of the calls and picked up.  Person said he is with Wells Frago Bank and we are valued customers and they are offering $25 and a 60 day trial insurance.  I said no thanks.  We are on DNC list but the problem is that they are using the guise of being with a bank where we have an account and therefore they have a right to call us.  He said he would remove us from their call list but it could take up to 30 days!  Ridiculous - I wonder if Wells Fargo Bank knows anything about this?

I called back and it says "Wells Fargo Promotions" - press one to elect NOT to be informed about promotions, then press two to be removed from contact list (enter phone no.)

Says it takes five days to update and 30 to completely remove you from the list.

Hope so. They've called a million times.
