I'm getting called daily. I'm not a Sovereign customer. Even if I was, I do business in writing not over the phone (esp when they first)!
Instead of a "Do not call" list, there should be a number to dial that would report the # that just called to charge an annoyance fee to reduce our government debt.

For more than 6 months they have called. Never leave message. I do not have acct there.
Used to be that companies cared about having a good name but they just don't care.
OR they can't... which means we all are in trouble!
Just 40 yrs ago being arrested or worse going to jail was a rarity but now... there are actually people who cut me out because I haven't.
Seriously, if large money institutions can't fight this...

This number is from Santander Bank

They just called my work phone # & hung up on us.  How rude.  I called back.  I can't understand the name. IT'S NOT SOVERIGN BANK... but it is some type of financial business. It sounds like "Son Ton Air".  I know that's not a name that makes sense.  I tried several options to try to get a person on the phone, but didn't have any luck.

Calls freq and leaves no message.

Stop calling DNC list.

Calls repeatedly. Put them on block.

Lisa -- Sovereign was merged into Santander, pronounced SawntawnDAIR (accent on last syllable).

And they have recently called me on a number on the Do Not Call list all of the following times:

I've written to the president.  This is ridiculous.

Santander Bank Apparently Becky Cohen owed this cell phone number Verizon was nice enough to recycle to me.
Now I get all of her creditor collection calls. Sovereign Bank will not stop calling. This number is on do not call list also.
I'm cancelling Verizon now.

These calls keep coming in from Sovereign Bank. They have assured me that I am on their Do Not Call List.  Also I am on the Federal and State do not call list but I keep getting these calls every day.  I would suggest everybody getting these calls to call them back and waste their resources as they are wasting our time. Please note if you have  any computer knowledge, have your computer keep calling them and hanging up.

ATM is called a Debit Card.  Do you mean switch from ATM/Debit card to their MC or Visa ? If so, I have the credit card and an ATM card w/Sovereign/ now Santander, hence, o they have no reason to call me.  It's a scam.

Who cares which buyout or merger has changed  names ? The point is that it's not the bank, a bank , or any bank. it's a scam.

They call 2-3 times a day.  I'm on the do not call list.  You answer, they hang up     No one ever talks on these calls, they just hang up.

SANTANDER bank has the number 877-768-2265 - I called them back and told them not to call me again about a month ago. The person I spoke to was: SHANAE TODMAN - she told me that she put a note on my account "not to call" - guess what - TODAY AGAIN A CALL FROM SANTANDER BANK rang but I did not pick up. This bank was Soveiregn Bank before this spanish bank bought it or took it over. Perhaps they are exempt from the rules of the DO NOT CALL. Unfortunately I have an account with them. NOW I wonder if they are safe or not.

They call very often and never leave a message.

Got a call today from this number.  It was a little boy who said "grandma it's me Matthew". Clearly a scam.
