- Justin McGilvery replies to Craig| 6 repliesI used to work for this company, accusing a money of extortion is wrong. We were very professional and dedicated to fixing this countries economy offering people great settlements before we took them to court. I left for a real estate job but the time spent at that company was professional and law abiding.
- candySaid they were the county clerks office and were sending the police out if I didn't call back immediately.

- RobertGot a call - caller ID was "Pioneer Human Services" and the phone # was 206-768-8910 which is a Fax # for a local government agency. They told my roommate to have me call this 877 800 1269 number with a case number so that they could serve me a summons. The recording did not give any company name and asked me to leave my case number. This is a little odd! I'll keep you posted.

- GG replies to deleted postI'm curious to hear what happened? So they were a legit firm? Did you mentioned the unethical practices they use?
- Confused| 1 replySomeone called from my local clerk of courts, supposedly. They were calling to inform that I was going to be served papers in 1 hour. I was confused what this could be about. They advised me to call 877-800-1269 with a file number to have the "service" changed.
I called that number and spoke with Frank Arellano. He said it was an old credit card debt and there was a civil suit pending and I was being served for that. I explained to him that I had settled with that company 2 years ago. He assured me that I did not and would be served if payment was not made. He said that if I let it get to the point of being served there would be nothing they could do. I told him I could try to come up with funds and asked if they would take a lump settlement. He advised they would but that I had to give him the debit card information by 11 am the next day. He would not let me mail a check said it must be a debit card. There were so many things that seemed odd, to say the least. When you call the company it does not have a name on the machine, why did the clerk warn me I was being served, why must it be a debit card and not a check? It all just seems off to me.
Needless to say I was hesitant to give him my debit card info. It has been 3 days since my deadline and yet I have not been served....
So now I started researching this company and so far everything I have read indicates they are fraudulent. I have seen my same story at least 3 times over. I am not sure what to do at this point.- Caller: LocalClerk of courts??? I believe it was in fact AFG& Assoc.

- Carol replies to ConfusedI got a very similar call yesterday!!!!!!! Wouldn't give me alot of details other than my address and SSN (How did they get my SSN? I'm freaked out).......I've never had that type of account done nothing but research since I got home, but cant find anything. What do I do?
- Lorelei replies to Justin McGilveryYou are full of it. This is a junk collector that does nothing but attempt to extort money illegally!
- DonI had a call from Allied, the person who was on the other end told me he was Officer Stone from the Polk County Court House in Iowa. He was calling me to serve me papers and since the envelope was still sealed that he had and papers were never served at this moment we could make a settlement. I got a reference number and called back and like an idiot gave them my debt card info, the next morning called the Polk County Courthouse in Iowa and they had no such record, so contacted the Iowa AG office and filed a report of consumer fraud and his advice was to cancel my debt card. I listened to him and that night received a call from Wachovia Bank Fraud where somebody tried to use my information to make a purchase to the tune of $750. It had to come from a person at this office as I try to never give out information and thought I was being safe in calling them back giving a reference number aqnd so forth in trying to resolve issues. Guess I was wrong, but going to file with California AG office and BBB in California. They need to be sued for there practices in how they collect.
