Portfolio Recovery Associates is NOT a collection agency. They are a junk debt buyer and they purchase them for pennies on the dollar and are now trying to collect on it.

I don't know if you have defaulted on a debt, but do NOT pay them a dime, until you check the SOL (Statue of Limitations) for the enforcement of collection of debts in your State:

Got a call this morning at 7:45 am. These people are BAD, RUDE, HATEFUL and are abusing the FAIR CREDIT DEBT RECOVERY ACT>  If they continue to bother u, 1st report them to the FTCC, then go to WAlmart, buy a whistle. When they call again(make sure its them), blow the whistle AS LOUD AS U CAN in their ear. If they want to annoy us, lets play the game with them and see who wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Portfolio Recovery Associates when I call.  THey keep calling my kids cell phone.  They put me on hold.  They leave voicemail with nothing. I called again today and they said they would remove my daughters number - really? I can't wait to see if they do.

I receive call from this number and they will not leave a message and says that I owe them money.

They keep calling and do not leave message.
Its harassing.
