They called me a couple of times a week for a while, but today they've called me 4 times.  I am going by what I read on here and not answering.  It's making me nervous though.

I've gotten 3 calls today from this number and they never leave a voicemail. I called back and it said please hold for the next available agent then played music while I was on hold so I just hung up.

Hi, similar problem as all of you.  Got 2 calls a day for 2 weeks from this number.  Called them back from a landline and asked them to remove me from call list... they said they can only do that if you call from the number they have been dialing.

YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM BACK FROM YOUR MOBILE, AND REQUEST THEM TO REMOVE YOUR NUMBER FROM THEIR CALL LIST.

This cost me 1-2 units, but hopefully will not recieve more calls from them.

Gulf Bay Incorporated. They call to tell you that you have been selected to win a sweepstakes.

I had to call them back after they left several messages on my phone with heavy breathing and background rap music, the first time they hung up on me, the second time I got thru. They asked me if I used any credit cards....I told them that I didn't have any of the major credit cards in hopes that they would stop calling. They were very quick to take me off of their call list and never called back.
I am suspecting that the cable or phone company sold these A holes my information. I never had spam calls until I moved here and had to get new services. At my last address I got spam calls on my home phone, because while setting up phone service I refused to give them my cell phone. I have a free app called MR. NUMBER, I blocked them too. GL!

This person called telling me I am entered to win $1 million dollars, and told me i get a magazine subscription to 3 magazines for free, then proceeded to tell me I can get 5 other magazines for 24 payments of 49.00. I was very confused because they told me the other magazines were free subscription, So I said okay. I then called the next day to cancel and they said I couldn't cancel but had to pay $400 to pay up my subscription to never get a bill again. do not let them talk you into this. I am out $400 dollars.

I got four calls from this number so I called them and a woman named Jenny answered, she was literally SO rude. I've never been so appalled by any telemarketer. She basically chastised me for asking to be put on the do not call list. I have no idea who this company is or why they are so sketchy and rude, I'm just happy they finally stopped calling me!

I was contacted by a fast taking salesman from "gulfbay magazines inc" thought I was getting a free trial for a sports mag. They had my info already and when I got the letter in the mail it said a 5 year contract for $1196 that I had supposably agreed to. Not the case had to cancel my cars because of this huge SCAM. These ppl should be planted 6ft under a lettuce patch!

Got a call today from this number... I was busy and didn't take it.  Called back later and was on hold for a minute with some elf talking... Seriously, it sounded like an elf... play the chipmunks fast and that was the hold recording. lol.. anyway, guy came on said he was from some company in Clearwater, FL.  I told him that I never heard of them... He said that's because you have never done business with them and that he was calling to tell me that I had won a $1,000,000 sweepstakes.  I said Really??  What sweepstakes was that?  I never entered one.  He replied with it was automatically done from my credit card company every time I make a purchase.  I said Oh really? and which credit card was that?  He said that he didn't know, they don't have the numbers.  I asked him if he needed them?  He said Oh yes, that would be great... I just laughed and said do you really think that I am stupid enough to give you my card number??? Then I told him thank you, that I need a good laugh today!  and he hung up.

They called me, and I let the guy talk because he said he was new at the job and I've been a sales rep before so I know what its like when people just hang up on you or ignore you. He said I'd get a free diamond watch and like 10 magazine subscriptions "All for free for 16 months, the only cost to me would be o buy one of the subscriptions for $4.99 a week." Some definition of "free" that's for sure.  They knew my street address and the type of card I use. Said I was entered in a drawing to win millions of dollars. Blah blah blah. And i was like ohkay well no thanks... and the guy was like will you speak to my supervisor about how well I did. I was like yea sure... I'll help a guy out. Then he put me on hold for like 3 minutes and I was about to hang up when another guy came on and told me everything all over again. I was like yea he did great I'm just not in a position to buy subscriptions right now. And he got really angry and rude with me. He accused me of lying! I was like, no seriously.. I'm sorry. and he goes "Whatever, have a 'nice' day." But it definitely was inflicted to sound like an FU. Sorryyyy, I tried to be nice and listen to your stupid sales pitch... but honestly. How rude. Also they were both quite sure to mumble the name of the company, when all their other words were clear and enunciated. It sounded like there was "Gulf" in the name somewhere but who knows.

Like most of the above comments, I got several calls from this number before finally answering and getting the same spiel about a million dollar sweepstakes from credit card company. The agent was Travis. I told him I have no credit cards and he said it is from your bank's debit card bearing the visa or mc logo.  I told him I'm not buying anything or interested in scams.  I inquired as to the company and how they got my ifo. He said, golfbay inc. like the sport and from my cc company-NOT. He said,"no, you have won a diamond rolex for either a male or female and three magazines with a bonus magazine for $4.99/week.  I told him I'm not interested in magazines and not paying for anything.  He claimed the watch and free magazines would begin within a week but his supervisor had to confirm.  Travis came back on the line saying it wouldn't transfer and a supevisor would be calling me back to confirm my winnings. He asked for my contact number and I said use the one you just called.  He wasn't rude but sounded extremely nervous.  I, too could hear more voices like a call center in the backgound. The catch is that the name they sought is a pseudo I only use on the inet.
