Hey guys i'm also receiving repeated calls at late night from numbers starting with +880 prefix, i.e. from bangladesh. I request and warn everyone to not to call back as it may be a fishing scam. It is very easy and common to make a clone of your sim card and exaust your balance or make calls. They can clone your sim card once you call that number. So beware and do not call back

I too got a miss call from +880 1935124158 at 21:16 (Lebanon) on 12 October 2012. by the way, i don't know or have a friend in Bangladesh.

am annoyed by callers from bangladesh his number is 8801731671307 and 8801935279452, also they used my country's code +23088017316713. Its pester you to receive call at night but nobody answers you, please what can be done. code for the exact city from where the call was made cannot be found.

Similarly, i received many calls from +880 1946342134 and he actually called me 60 over times in a night. He only hangs up if it is a male on the other line. But will continue to repeat hello hello hello if it's a female that is on the line.

Hoping to shed some light on the "Hello Hello Hello" thing. This is based on the 3 years I spent living in Calcutta, India (where they also speak Bengali). In India, typical calling manners are different. A caller will continue to say "Hello" to you until you say either "Talk to me" in English or "Bollo" (means the same thing in local language). However, my Bangla isn't good enough to tell the caller that he or she has the wrong number. Hopefully, though, the caller knows enough English to understand "wrong number". Sorry my Bangla language skills aren't enough to help beyond this.

I've also received a missed call from this country code 880, that's why tried to search online about this, and it so happen to see this site. The number that called me is 8801712251154, and obviously it is from Bangladesh. I thought somebody I knew from Saudi before tried to get in touch with me here in the Philippines, because I have some Bangladesh friends there. But I am wondering how did he get my Philippine cell number. How can we track this numbers? I hope the Bangladesh government will do something about this.
