Got this call last night at 11:15. Wanted me to press one to reactivate my card. I hung up. SCAM!

Yup..  They still at it..   Tried me twice over last two days.  With two different stories..  

My husband and I both got calls on our cell phones today.  The recorded message said "This is an official call from German American Bank.  Your debit/master card has been locked due to security issues.  Press 1 to re-activate."  We do not have any accounts with this bank.

Got the same stupid call. Why can't anyone in today's world figure out who this is!!

Same voicemail as everyone else. Message said my German American card had been locked and to call back. I don't bank with them. Hung up!

Called me at 5:55 a.m. this morning on my cell phone.  They left a message but, I couldn't understand it.  It kept fading in and out.  I didn't call back.  I don't answer calls that I don't recognize the number.

Voice mail stated: ".... (beginning was cut off) information from Max Spend (that what the name sounds like) informing you that your pre-paid Mastercard has been locked due to suspicious activity.  To unlock, please press 1 now."

Unknown caller left No message.

Also got a call stating that my card had been breached. It was not clear on which card was breached (I have a couple). And then it asked that I enter my card number... Which card? And if this were the case wouldn't I get a live person to call rather than a machine... Ok I did what every skeptical person would do. I hung up and called the same number  back.: nothing nada  -- operator intercept said "number was not in service or disconnected"  Wow. How did they get my cell number?  The other thing to check, for veracity is if you have an alternate number then your bank or card would also call that. This is more than a prank. It is a means of taking money from you or worse your identity.

Received this call. I pressed 1 than they hanged up. Why are they calling me? They called from 888 247 0216.  

Received a call from this number 888-247-0216 with a lot of static so I only heard part of the name of a credit union saying our debit card had been put on hold.  We don't bank at a credit union so I hung up.

Got call said this is activity to unlock press one. Voicemail, 10s. Dubviously scam.

Got a call from them at 3:15 in the morning!!!! Same thing everyone else said!

They called me at 6:30 a.m. waking me up leaving a message saying there was suspicious activity on my MasterCard, they've been blocked from contacting me via my cell phone. Nothing like being awoken first thing in the morning by scam artists. The special place in the afterlife of people like this.

I got the same call at 1 PM today, and this could be a possible credit card scammer claiming my MasterCard was blocked. Best bet would be to go to the FTC about this issue.

Somebody call me from that number, they said something about my credit card was approve and call to give my information. Right away I know something was wrong, I hang up

Cant believe I got this same call at 4 am in the morning I just hung because my mc isn't activated..lol dam scammers

This number has called me twice and it seemed like a scam, so I checked this web-board...confirmed!!

"This is a message from Netspend, we regret to inform you that your account has been locked. Press 1 to go to our security menu"

I hung up.
