Report a phone call from 888-258-9142 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- AngI get phone calls from this number about 5-10 times A DAY! I have no idea how they got my number, I have nothing online that gives out my information and I am also on the "No Call" list. Clearly this list is not working and I want these phone calls to stop! I am always either at work busy or in class at school and I miss picking up their phone calls. Sometimes, the phone will only ring once and then quit? I am fed up!
- angry consumerI have been on the do not call registry for years, and yet I still get all of these unsolicited calls. 888-258-9142 is just the latest violater.
My suggestion is to get Google voice and tie your home number into it, then you can enter the number of these callers and leave them their very own specific, outgoing message, and you never have to get their calls again.
I have begin to enjoy taking the calls as I keep them on the line, and get rather crude referencing their heritage and the validity of the callers birth, and their mothers wanton ways. The people that work at these phone farms are the lowest of the low, if they were not on the phone they would probably be stealing or killing.- Caller: ewebb
- angry consumergoogle do not call and file complaints.
You might want to relist your phone numbers, and then file multiple complaints agsint the companies.
Then since they have a toll free to you number, take a few minutes each day and call them. You will tie up their lines and cost them money for everyincoming call they take.
FIGHT BACK. get all of your friends together to call with blocked numbers, and try to get the people to explain their sales pitch, then tell them they suck and hang up, and then callback, do it again. make it a party game, who ever can keep the person taling the longest wins, it is easy to block your outgoing number, *87 *67 etc. depends on the cell company.
I also do the smae with mail in solicitations. I take all my info off and put the offers from one credit card, back in the envelope from another and stuff the envelope as full as I can with other junk mail. These companies have to pay anything over the contracted weight as a penalty. I used Vistaprint.com to make up some horrid litle fake business cards, and drop those in there also. If all of us were to do that, we could serioulsy effect these parasite companies.- Caller: ewebb
- AneHave received numerous calls with no one speaking just the sound of background noise. They eventually hang up if I keep the line open.
- throat cutterMy cell phone can block 20 numbers so I never hear those programed numbers ring. Sometimes
they leave a voicemail and I clear that in the evening so I'm not wasting minutes on them. Usually the VM is without a word too so, I finally beat them. I wish my phone would block more numbers cuz I get other calls like
that where I wish they'd die already. I like Buffalo Bills solution short of cutting their throat.- Caller: No Idea - I Don't Answer it
- Time will tellAfter a number of unanswered calls and reading this site, i finally decided to call back. They answered promptly and said "Hi Kevin" (not my name). I said "who were you calling" They said "Kevin Lewis" (both names not even close. I then asked for them to verify the number and they repeated my cell phone number back to me. I then again stated that was not me and could i please be placed on the Do Not Call list. He said absolutely and wished me a happy new year and i hung up.
Pleasant enough. Time will tell.
P.S. From what i have always heard, always ask to be placed on the DO NOT CALL list, not taken off their CALL list. It's a subtle difference but apparently means a lot to the telemarketers. - HowardWe've had a dozen calls from this number. I have filed a complaint with the do not call registry. Has anyone found a way to get them to stop?
- bucththis call has appeared sevaral times. they asked for nunbers of credit cards and state that they can lower interest rates.
- Lindacall my cell phone every day. They do not answer if I answer and never leave a message.

- doug wI also received a call from Andrew, save as Brian L above and was offered the save package. Also a $50.00 discount and a 90 day trial with a full refund. If this is so great, why don't they just give it for free? If anyone is interested they gave me a call back number 877-286-7530. It's great to find these blogs before you give up your hard earned money. Note also that because it was Martin Luther King day, that there would be no additional fees. Good luck with that!

- LizUnsolicited caller. They called me and left no message.
- HollyThese people from this number call every day around 6:30 pm when I am working. They are a real pain as I work from home, and the phone ringing while I am working is not cool. I would liketo get their home number and ring it off the hook like they do to all of us. This is really crazy. Get rid of one telemarketer and pick up 2-3 more. Telemarketers should be illegal.
- LizCalls from this unknown number. This is my cell phone and I do not appreciate it. I am registered with DO NOT CALL. Who sold my information?
- RhondaI called these guys right back, and they knew my name when they picked up (creepy). They told me that I requested information about making money from home, and I said I didn't remember having done so. I asked how I could get my number taken off his list, and he said he could take it off. Easy as that (I hope).

- MarleneGot various calls including this number and other numbers. They all wanted to set me up to earn money at home. Told the first caller to take me off their phone list. Still reced. 33 more calls after that. I am going to try to find a way to penalize these people, law suit or otherwise. If anyone knows how,let us all know.

- LisaThis is the most rude and most immature cold call I've ever encountered. Surely they cannot think that they can bully people into this crap. Demanding I give the phone to my husband. Telling me it isn't their problem they are rude. Making smart ass remarks. The only thing I want to know is how to file a complaint against them and have them shut down. It is unfortunate that these people are desperate enough to do business this way.
