credit card services call you and want all kind of info telling you your interest will lower to 6.99  its a scam they even want bank account andother important info

Talked with Alix Taylar at ex 253 but he refused to give company name

Got a call from this group, fast talking and said they were going to lower interest rate..on several cards because I was such a good payer...women also said her supervisor would call back in 30 minutes to extend the offer..I ended up closing my accounts because it is a scam..they company is called Logic Works or so the recept. said..they wanted to charge 498.00 to "roll up" the credit cards...a definite scam

I just had the same thing happen to me on Jan 18, 2012. It's a scam.. They are wanting to take money out of my account to for 498.00 for lifetime assistance. closed everything..

Yes, this is a scam, they got all the info. from my Aunt who is 79.  Charged her $598.00
hopefully she can get out of this. She is old and sickly.
She is reporting this to the District Atttorney's office.

My husband and I were SCAMMED by Logic Works to the tune of $600 !!!!!!!!!!!!

I've confirmed with B of A that this company is a fraud.
Now....get this.....they're threatening us with ruining our credit because we closed our bank account.
I've called the better business bureau and B of A fraud dept but what else we do ?

I just got a call from these scam artist/confirmed with the CC companies its fraud!!  What caught me off guard was that I had just talked to my CC about lowering my rate yesterday!! So when he called and offered to drop it to 6.9 I .... I ... ay ya yai!!!! He seemed to know a lot about me and all my accounts and just fished fished fished for more info.  Cancel my cards and put a hold on charges.

I was contacted by logic works, too.  The person that I spoke with said that they could get a lower apr on my credit card.  All they did was open two more cc with 0% apr, but did not lower my original credit card.  They wanted to do transfers to the new card with 0% apr.  They did nothing to lower the apr on my original card.  The phone number they gave me is different from phone number others were given.  The phone number they gave me is 1-877-868-5469.  I called the number others were given and it is out of order.  They must have changed their number.  I told they that I was not going to pay the $596.00 they were going to charge me for their services because they did not do anything that I could have done myself.  They also threated to sue me for the $596.00.  I felt sooo stupid.  I have a masters degree and thought I was smart enough not too fall for a scam, but they had about three different people talking to me and I didn' stop to thing about what they were doing until the got me for $596.00, which I am not going to pay.

I contacted the BBB, but without a physical address the BBB could not find logic works.

I'm also the victim of this company. Logic works charged me $598 for lowering my cc rate to fixed 4.5% for 5 years. They did nothing to lower my rate but charged me $$$ and got all my important info. What we can do about this scam? We should do something.
