Why the rudeness? I was late paying my bills this month and just wanted to know who it was that was calling so I could confirm that they received the payment. This site is supposed to be helpful in finding out who "they" are. Not a format for you to make people feel badly about themselves. Hopefully, you'll never experience NOT being able to pay your bills on time and the result of such reality. It's not a fun place to be.

I do pay Bill Me Later every month.  They still call endlessly and from a few different numbers.  If you answer, they are aggressive, and one guy was way too far aggressive.  I don't answer anymore.  It doesn't do any good to tell them you have paid, or that you have selected a payment date online, they are like brainless animals telling you to pay now, pay now.

I don't have anything to do with PayPal, I have never even used their service. I usually don't call back numbers that don't leave messages but after two weeks of two calls a day I called. They said they were PayPal customer service, I hung up immediately. Googled all PayPal numbers and this isn't on there. Obvious scam.

These comments were both helpful and entertaining, I didn't realize I had to initiate a payment and used the line of credit they have me on accident. I thought they would automatically withdrawal a payment but now I know I have to set it up each month. Thanks everyone! ✌️

Bill Me Later is part of PayPal and they are probably calling because you owe them a payment

I contacted PayPal directly and got the following reply:

The 888-393-7162 phone number is not a PayPal number. My suggestion would be to contact us directly so that we can discuss the details of the phone call.  We always suggest to not release any information if you are not comfortable with who you are speaking with.  You can always disconnect and contact PayPal directly.  We appreciate your communication to report this suspicious call.  We look forward to speaking with you.

This is a complete fraud! Do not answer these calls!

They can legally call from 8 am to 9 pm your time. (not their time)

They start at 6AM. I've had it with these idiots. We don't have "PayPal" or "Bill Me Later".  Why call?

I have been getting calls from Paypal in the morning and again at night. I do not use paypal... We decided to get a landline when we switched to comcast as it was part of a package. It seems the person who had this number before me didn't pay there bills. It's very annoying because they call when I'm not home and never leave a message.

I called the number and discovered someone had been using my name. This debt collector was calling to collect on the fraudulent debt that was not mine. Glad I called them back.

I am going out on a limb here to surmise that "Bill Me Later" is buying blocks of phone numbers to solicit/pimp their services....aka Zombie Dialing.

I have a "Pay As You Go/buy minutes" cell phone, of which NO ONE has the number.  The phone was purchased with cash, and the minutes are purchased every month with cash.  The phone has NO name associated with it.

I have never listed my number online for ANYTHING, as it is an emergency phone.  The *only* way they can call my number is by purchasing the number from someone/somewhere for solicitation purposes.  Shady and sketchy, to say the least.
