They are calling my relatives and saying they have a summons or complaint about me, they tried this with a different number, and they are a scam. They want you to pay a bogus credit or something.
I think they are out of Cornoa California.

i dont think they are a scam, they actually saved me 25% off my principle balance on a credit card i had, and saved me from going to court and paying lawyer fees...in my opinon id call them to at least see what its regarding

You must be working for them?   They are crimminals, have checked this out my self...They are asking my relatives for money for me?  Not close relatives, ex relatives. Why not contact me directly. I am published on my credit file, and it is clean, SCAM................

Just found out via telephone provider they know about this old debt collection scam.. the FTC is checking into all these 1-800-866 etc. numbers calling, they are getting constant calls about them. Debt over 10 years old is under the statute of limitation, even medical bills.

Have numerous calls to my relatives and past relatives that I would be summoned or served papers. This has not happened. Guess we called your bluff. Not a real business, just scam artists.

A process server does not collect any debt. If this was a true process server all they would do is serve the "process" which is an order from the court that you appear in the case. They are a debt collection agency. It is illegal for a collection agency to represent themselves as anything else.  They may have "saved you money" but they did it by scamming you.

It is also illegal for a debt collector to threaten summons and then not serve, it is under the fair credit act, and the debt collector can be sued in court for not following through, but these people are not legit collectors.

Then why are you on here?  Do you have a complaint? I dont have any bills.... Does that make any since???? You work for them dont you? If they could summon you they would. They dont call your relatives, past relatives and employers to tell you they are giving you 2 hours or you will be served.

What kind of attorney calls your elderly parent with one foot in the grave and tells them you are in trouble and going to be arrested if they dont get some kind of payment? And asks them to put it on a credit card or debit card would work better. Does that sound like a legal representative?

Read this and understand, I have no debts......They do not contact me. I am very easy to find they contact my relatives with some concoctive story about bailing me out...

Then u must be one out of a million cuz they collect real debt most ppl want to call them a scam because they don't want to pay

What makes u think they are

This number has called my Grandmother and Mother and said I was going to be sued.  They said they were going to summons me.  I called them back and told them to sue me then.  They said I owed money on a providean credit card which I never have had.  I cannot find anything on my credit report of this so called credit card so I believe this is a scam.  However they did have the last 4 digits of my social security number.  Also this gentlemens name who left me a voicemail said his name was David White.
